My wife and I were visiting friends in Mineral Bluff and took a day to play. Due to low temps, there was a frost delay of about 45 minutes; however, the staff was super friendly and the delay was over before we knew it. The new, beautiful clubhouse is under construction, which was a disappointment but the temporary building was well stocked with everything we needed.

I must say, I had my doubts about the playability of the course as I looked out over the extreme terrain of the 1st and 2nd holes, which can be seen from the elevated clubhouse area. I was particularly worried about my wife who is a novice and the fact that on that day play was cart path only.

My doubts quickly disappeared on the first hole...the look of amazement on my wife's face after hitting the fairway. By the 8th hole she turned to me and said, "this is freaking awesome and we will be coming back." I have played all over the country and the world...this was one of the most fun courses I've played. Very enjoyable and playable from the fairway...very difficult from the rough or Streamsong-like bunkers. We play in the Pinehurst area often and I have played Tabacco Road. The only comparison would be the rustic, natural look of both, the elevation changes of Old Toccoa take it to another level.

What an awesome experience. A must play of you are in the area.

Staff was awesome and course was an awesome walk. Greens were fast and true and course was empty. A great nine hole walk.

Played with my wife on Father's Day. Checked in early and pro shop staff got us out 1/2 hour early. On the first tee we noticed a family in the fairway (husband, wife, and 3 young kids under 10 years old) all hitting balls. After our tee shots, we noticed to whole family on the green with carts parked next to the green. I noticed the kids hitting green as they attempted to hit the ball and when we got up to the green, I spent 10 minutes repairing the damage to the green. We informed the pro shop, but didn't see anyone talk to them. Staff was good and course was great except for the 5 1/2 hour round.

My wife and I arrived early before our round on Palmer Course and had an awesome lunch in the club house. We checked in at pro shop, then with Dick to get our cart. We hit some balls on the range (range turf needs some work), then went back to starter to get our round under way. Dick informed us that the Palmer course was backed up with golf vacation groups and suggested we play the Watson course for a more enjoyable round which we did. Unfortunately, an unforcasted heavy drizzle started on our third hole and did not let up. After waiting under trees and comfort station, we headed back to pro shop; they gave us a rain check without question. We look forward to going back for a great round. Thank you Reunion staff for being awesome.

It's been years since I played the International course and I can't believe I've waited so long to get back out here. Course was in superb condition, particularly the greens. Greens were pristine, rolling fast and true. My wife noted that Championsgate International is now her favorite course. Club house has a lot of history, a great bar and the staff is awesome. We will be back often!

Lots of water on course makes for some challenging holes. Playing from back tees requires long carries over water to some narrow fairways. Forward tees allow for more generous miss-hits. Fairways are in great shape and the greens are in excellent condition, fast and true. Best retirement community course I have played. My wife had her best round of golf at this course. Gators sunning themselves made for some good photo ops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to play this awesome course.

What an awesome layout...you might think you are playing a Pete Dye course. The course is a little run down; some bare spots on greens and fairways, but the layout is just too good to let the imperfections bother you. Every hole has it's own character and each are named (the grand canyon and treasure island) to name a few. My wife and I had a fantastic time, and the staff was excellent. We arrived early for a 12:30 tee time and the pro got us out early in front of a league. We will definitely be back next time we are in Destin.

This course will make you wonder what state you are in...the elevation changes are somewhat dramatic for Florida; thank goodness for the gas carts. I was definitely challenged from the back tees. Some of the greens need work, but they rolled fast and true. They have two courses and we look forward to returning to play the Falcon. Staff was excellent; we did not have a tee time and they got us out immediately. You do need to be associated with military to play the course or be a guest of military.

Although it was chilly and overcast, my wife and I had an awesome day at Eaglebrook. The course layout is fantastic...you might even think you are not in Florida with some of the elevation changes. Staff was excellent, Jamie was very quick to bring us a couple Irish coffees on course. Pace of play was great and greens were fast and true.

This course has an awesome layout. Almost every tee shot from back Tees is chute to a tight fairway. Approach shots are also interesting do to challenging green complexes. Unfortunately, the course is run down and lacks maintenance on tee boxes, fairways, greens and especially bunkers. No rakes anywhere. All in all, it was a fun layout and very reasonable price...we will play here again.

The course is beautiful; the layout runs through very nice homes with waterways throughout. The golf staff was outstanding. The bar staff was equally superb--we arrived early and decided to grab a drink and some sandwiches for the course...the sandwiches were the bomb. Unfortunately, there was a tournament in morning which loaded the course in afternoon. Ranger could have done a better job moving the slow foursomes along, but all-in-all was a great day on the course. We will definitely be back.

Had no idea front nine was closed for aerification; they could have easily have told us that when we called prior to leaving for course. We were told to play back nine twice. What a negative experience, the greens on back nine were punched the day before and lacked sand and were unputtable. The restaurant was closed for renovations and the course was overgrown and saturated...fairway tee shots plugged and balls in rough were almost impossible to find. Oh yes, the maintenance crew was cutting grass at 10:30, directly in front of us while teeing off, without a care. Very bad experience for my beginner wife. We quite after 7 holes and won't be back.

What a pleasant surprise. My wife and I stopped by Pinehurst on way back down from Northeast. A chance to play the original, first course at 1/2 price was beyond all expectations. #1 is gorgeous from the get-go; no it's not #2 or #4, but it is a fun course from the tips. Don't be thinking your gonna just rip your driver on every hole, you have to think your way around #1. My wife enjoyed the course immensely,..happy wife....happy life. We played #5 the day before for half price at 4:30 pm. Wish we had a couple more days because the Cradle Par 3 course looked like a blast...barefoot golf with music blasting and cocktail mini-RV serving up some Transfusions. Keep doing what you are doing Pinehurst...you are winning!

Wow, what a great experience. On our way back down to Tampa from the Northeast, we stopped a a friends house in Pinehurst Village for a couple days for my wife's birthday. We did have any expectations of playing on such short notice. The Pinehurst staff member at golf registration was exceptional. He got us out at 4:30 pm at the twilight rate (1/2 price). The course is plenty tough from the back tees. The pace of play was excellent and the course conditions were magnificent; moreover, the water and ice machines around the course were fantastic. We finished in plenty of time to enjoy the Pinehurst area restaurants.

First time playing this course. Unfortunately, TS Fay came through a couple days earlier and the course was a little soggy. Course has a great layout and the par 3's are challenging both in distance and slope. Beverage cart did stop early; however, kudos to Ballamor for the water jugs every few holes...made a huge difference. Would definitely play this course again and will recommend to my friends.

Another great day at Medford Village. Didn't know what to expect since the course was closed during COVID-19. What was I thinking...the staff didn't miss a beat. Course was in immaculate condition and difficult as usual. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Course was packed, yet pace of play was excellent. I would, however, recommend a beverage cart on the course...it was extremely hot and water jugs had been removed. The bar staff was awesome after our round, attending to our every need on the patio. Well done Medford Village!

My second time playing course...I was not disappointed. Played with my son for Father's Day. Although It was a little hot, the course was in fantastic condition and the Pro Shop and bar staff were excellent. The fairways were plush and the greens had a decent pace and were true. As usual, we had a threesome in front of us who most definitely should not have been playing the blue tees; they lost balls in the water and woods on most holes and hit multiple balls off tees. All-in-all, I expected it to be a long round on Father's Day, so we soaked in the beauty of the course with some tasty beverages...Great Day!

I played there a couple months ago and was not impressed...the greens had bare spots, had to move ball in fairway to find grass and the tee boxes had many bare spots. I heard the course was in much better shape, so I gave it another chance...WOW, was I surprised. The greens, fairways and tee boxes had been punched over a month ago, and had recovered beautifully. Fairways are getting plush along with tee boxes and the greens are rolling well. In another couple months, River Hills will once again be one of the best courses in area.
