The course is always in exceptional condition. I played it the day after a very heavy storm and rain. The course has great drainage. We were off the cart path by around noon. You could see where some of the creeks had overflowed onto the course by the mud residue. Staff was very friendly.

This course is in great condition. The best bang for your buck in the area.

Played the course on a Tuesday afterrnoon. Got discounted tee time online. Starter allowed us an early start. My wife rode along for the views. This time of the year it was not real crowded, so once I played through a foursome, we were unrestricted. The course is fun to play but quite challenging. The par 3s are a lot of fun. Several significant drops in elevation from tee to gree/fairway, especially #10 (listed as 154 feet from the whites). Staff was very friendly and course was in great shape. Quite a few breaks on the greens. Definitely fun to play; worth the drive from Breckenridge.

Played as a single on the Wednesday after Labor Day. Course not crowded and in in great condition; played in about 3 hours. Staff was very frendly. The course has a few tough holes, but overall it is great for an average golfer from the intermediate or for an advanced golfer from the tips. Lots of oak trees, but fairways wide enough to keep out of trouble.

Only got in 16 holes before dark in 4 1/2 hours (1:30 - 6:00). As we left the 16th hole, there were 4 foursomes ahead of us. Waited to tee off at every hole 5-8 minutes.

The course was in great condition, especially when compared to others I played while there. Greens and fairways are well maintained. Played it while visiting in Escondido in 2011 and 2012. Will definitely play it again when I'm in the area.

Course was in fairly good shape in September 2012. Pace of play was reasonable. Greens and fairway are maintained adequately for an average player.
