Had a great round and enjoyed the course, layout, conditions, and playing partners. The pace was excellent with no waiting except on the 18th teebix for some reason. Fast greens and space on the fairways if you get a little loose out of the tee box. All my approach shots stuck the green, yet they were firm and rolled true. The cart GPS was a little wacky and cautioned me on the cart path near the 18th and 9th greens.

My only negative was that the toilet in the ckubhouse had no toilet paper. Good thing there were papers for the sink.

Course was in good shape and the greens were pretty consistent. There were a few spots on some (like 18), but improving and NOT a reason to not play and the greens held nicely. It was 83-85 degrees out and there were a lot of folks out playing , but the pace was great. Played with another single and we never waited to hit our next shots which is the optimal pace.

Had a great day at the course on a beautiful day. The staff was friendly and polite, the course was in great shape from tee to green, the greens were fast and rolled true, nice undulations in the greens, great layout from hole to hole, got paired with a great group, but they didn't have enough carts which was the only disappointment that caused my only negative comment's. I arrived an hour early before tee time and was told to return back in a half hour. So I hit a large bucket at the range which was quite a hike from the pro shop with no cart. After hauling myself and bag back to the pro shop to get my cart they told me that three others in my group had the carts and that I had to go find them even though I didn't know them. So I hauled myself and bag back to the starter near the first hole (20 minutes before tee time) and was told they already teed off 10 minutes prior. So I waited another 5-10 minutes since they couldn't find a cart and told me to drive down the course and find the group and join them and that I could play the holes I missed afterwards. I found the group on the 3rd hole and went on to have a great day.

I could have let this wrinkle ruin my day, but I didn't. If they had enough carts, which they should for a semi-private club, then things would have been so much better.

Don't let this prevent you from playing a wonderful course.

Enjoyed the course and layout. Course was in great shape including tees, fairways, and greens that rolled true. Ended up playing the round in @4.5 hrs which was the only downside. There was a little waiting on the first several holes, but then it became better as the round went on. Lots of wildlife and gators which added to the beauty of the course. The course is in a community but the houses were not right on top of the course and the fairawys were plenty wide so if your tee shots leaked a little you weren't overly punished. Definitely will play it again.

Played the Creek and Oaks nines and the Marsh was closed. I had a good outing and enjoyed the round. Upon check-in I was asked to tuck in my shirt which caught me off guard, but was understandable. I had a nice Oakley polo and golf shorts on which were very presentable, but it was odd to have to tuck it in considering that it was 90 plus degrees and being untucked helps with airflow and cooling, but that's ok.

Multiple warm up areas (driving, short game, and putting) was nice. The cart guys also were kind enough to pull a cart up to my vehicle and leave it next to my vehicle as I parked.

The 1st several holes of Creek were nice, but about midway through the fairways were in rough shape with many browned out areas from the drought. Tee boxes as a whole were decent as were the greens, but they were a bit slower than the warm up area greens. The layout of Creeks was nice and it was a trek between holes which I found enjoyable. The trek between holes on Oaks was much shorter and the fairways were in much better shape overall on that nine. We saw the cart girl several times along with the ranger which was nice although we didn't have a need for the ranger.

I had a nice time overall and would recommend the course. The only downside was the condition of some of the fairways on Creek othwrwise I would have rated it higher.

Played Sunday afternoon around 2pm and thankfully there was a bit of a breeze to make it tolerable. The course was in decent shape from tee box to fairway to greens. The greens were slightly slower than I'd like, but there were some that rolled quicker than others and good and some had a couple of small areas under repair, but nothing different than other courses. The staff was super friendly and nice including the cart gal who I saw about 3 times. No clubhouse, yet, but I wasn't there to hang out, but rather play golf. There's a range too and it was conveniently on the way to the 1st tee for a quick warm up session.
There are a few holes where the layout has you potentially getting into the firing lanes of the group ahead of you, so please pay attention to the signage that makes you aware before deaprting to the next tee box. Lots of homes and condos being built around the course although not completed. I thought a few mostly on the back nine had the potential of getting hammered with golf balls when done as close as they were to the fairway and tee boxes.
All in all, had a good round on a good course and would recommend to others. For those that are a bit picky and expect to be wowed at the ambience, you may want to pass and try somewhere else so you can hold up play elsewhere.

Great course from tee to green as always. The greens were aerated within the past few days so the greens were obviously sandy. As a result, they were a bit slower than usual, but every course endures this process a few times a year that is a necessary evil to improve and enhance the quality of the course moving forward. Everything else was as expected.

I realize some folks would provide a negative review based on the aerification, but that's just plain ignorant. This is a normal maintenance procedure that impacts the greens for about a week, but ultimately makes the course much better.

Picked the only sunny day between a bunch of rainy ones and had a great time. Course was in good shape from the rain, save only a few bunkers that had some water in them from the several inches of rain. There's been a lot of chatter about the greens lately and I will say that they're not their usual best, but I would give them a 7 out of 10. They were recently aerated and sanded which doesn't help immediately, but necessary for the long term health and rollability. The ball still rolled pretty well, albeit a notch slower, and the greens definitely held iron shots nicely, and there was one green that had a couple of patches in the middle, but that's what has to happen sometimes if there's a stubborn turf ailment.

The pace was fast and the tee boxes and fairways were in good shape. It was a great day on the course and I was able to score well. Don't let a couple of minor maintenance items prevent you from playing a great course and enjoying the day.

The course was a treat to play and well worth the 40 mile journey from the other side of town. Everything from the tee boxes to the fairways to the sand traps to the greens were in excellent shape. The greens held nicely and rolled fast and true. The pace of play was great (under 4 hr round), lots of water jugs on the course, beverage cart made multiple cycles, and the staff was great.

This is not an overly difficult course, but it definitely provides some great challenges and is very "playable". Fairways are plenty wide where you don't need to be laser straight and can uncork your driver although there are some spots where a 3 or 5 wood might be the better "golf shot" that minimizes risk. There are also ample tee boxes to align with varying skill levels.

Play a round here and you won't be disappointed and will quickly be planning your next tee time at Eagle Landing.

Played this a couple of days before Thanksgiving and expected a little more traffic, but the heavy drizzle threat must have kept the regulars away. Played with a great, local father/son twosome and another dad in town from Philly visiting his daughter. He wanted to know where the sun was, but was a great part of our foursome. The course was in really great shape from tee to green and the ball rolled fast and true, the way it should be. Great staff as always and will continue to play this regularly weekly.

On another positive note, the course revieved a bunch of new carts today. Hopefully they are in addition to their current inventory. Regardless, this is one of the best courses in the area so get out here.

Play this course regularly and it's always in great shape. The greens are super fast and true so you need to bring your A game on the greens or 3 putts will ruin your score. Fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. Actually played this course on back to back days (Mon and Tues) and my only negative comment was that it seems to slow down on the last 4 or 5 holes and we were waiting at each shot. Probably a function of the difficulty, but it's the only part of the round that was negative. If you're looking for a challenging and well maintained course then you need to play here.

Had another great round/experience at SH. The course is always in good, if not great shape and that's the tees, fairways, traps, and greens. Greens roll true, hold the balls, and are manicured and there's actual sand in the traps. The layout of the course is always conducive to a good pace regardless of how busy it may be. My only complaint, albeit a minor one, is to please start filling the water barrels on the course. It's been a hot summer and still is, but I'd like to be able to get some water every few holes and not have to always wait for the bev cart. This issue seems to be ongoing at many courses and I can't understand why this practice has gone to the wayside. If you're going to pair singles on carts, which I have no issue with, then you can certainly fill the water jugs.

Played here several times over the past couple of years and the course is still a nice place to play, but the weekend can be busy. Today was a bit slow although it wasn't overly horrible, but our group did have to wait a couple minutes almost on half of the holes and a bit longer at the par 3 5th hole. The course has some areas that have dried up in several areas, but the greens were in decent shape for the most part although they were somewhat slow and a tad fuzzy to likely help protect them from the heat. The course is laid out nicely and there is an abundance of wildlife scattered about. The staff is always great and it's nice that they've been able to reestablish the 19th hole.

Play here about once every 2 weeks and I've yet to have a bad experience. The course is very playable with wide fairways and if you hit some errant shots you're not overly punished unless, of course, you hit it in the trees or water. The course is challenging and the greens are fairly quick and roll pretty true despite having been aerated in the past week or two. The course is always busy, but rarely backs up as a result of its playability and folks don't spend a lot of time looking for balls. The sand bunkers are fairly well maintained and you'll likely find one to test your mettle during your round. Overall, the course is well maintained and they're constantly making improvements, repairs, and getting water onto the course during dry spells like we have now. This is my favorite course in the area and will likely be one of your favorites too.

Always a great experience here. This is my favorite course in the area. I would have given it 5 stars for course conditions, but it was still somewhat bumpy from being aerated a week ago, but still quite playable and enjoyable. A lot of folks complain about aeration, but it's a necessary evil to keep the greens rolling true and in top shape. Fairways and greens were in great shape too and the bunkers(there are no shortage of these) were also in good shape with actual sand. This course gets a lot of traffic, but it mostly moves at a good pace with little to no waiting. I'd have to attribute that to the playability of this course as there's good room outside of the fairways which arw wide themselves so people don't usually have to spend a lot of time looking for their balls.

They still haven't started filling the water coolers on the course, but there was no shortage of beverage carts.

Have played this course several times and I truly enjoy playing here. The conditions are always great. There are several tee areas which helps prevent one area from being abused and unable to re-stabilize. Fairways are also maintained nicely and the greens are quick and equally in great shape. We've had a lot of rain lately, but it's finally letting up and the course is getting that much better. The course has some tight spots, but its mostly very playable and if you're not striping your drives you don't find yourself overly penalized. You can score well here. The scenery is great and homes are not sitting right on the fairway.
The staff is always friendly from the pro shop to the starter to the drink cart.
Get yourself a tee time and head out, you won't be disappointed!

Played the course for the first time after hearing many raving reviews. Definitely a nice course and the greens were in great shape and the ball rolled nicely. The trek from tee to green was a bit disappointing, but understandable with all of the above average rains in the area. Fairways were quite damp and the Bermuda rough was a bear and deep. Lost several balls that either plugged or were nuzzled in the Bermuda and I'm talking about shots that might have been just 5ft off the fairway. This slowed down play greatly just trying to find well hit balls that should have been easily visible. This was also a problem around the greens looking for balls that just missed the green. I would suggest trying some hi-vis colored balls that might be easier to see the top of. I will wait a few months before playing again. I would imagine the fairway and rough conditions would be much improved over the drier fall and winter seasons for this course.

One other note, this is the first course I've seen since COVID concerns became rampant in March that had water on the course and no Styrofoam in the cups. It was greatly appreciated as temps were in the 90s with indexes in the 100s.
