Harmony Golf Preserve
Played On 01/21/2023Enjoyable Day at Harmony
Course was in pretty good condition. Rye overseed didn't take in all places, but overall tee to green was in fine shape, and the greens were in very good shape despite being very soft. Not overly busy so pace of play was good. The Johnny Miller design is a lot of fun.
Duran Golf Club - Championship Course
Played On 01/15/2023Course in good shape.
Duran was in nice shape last weekend, tee to green. I'd shied away from the course last year when conditions weren't great, but I'll definitely consider playing more often with these conditions. Pace overall was good, played in just under 4 hours despite a slower group ahead of us.
Please fix your ball marks!
Harmony Golf Preserve
Played On 08/06/2022Greens in Nice Shape
Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were in nice shape but softer than expected. Only fairway in poor shape was the par-5 14th. Layout always provides a good mix of holes and a good test.
Baytree National Golf Links
Played On 12/04/2021Greens in Excellent Condition
The greens at Baytree are in excellent condition right now. Course was busy, and pace of play was slow on the front but improved on the back.
The Cape Club of Palm City
Played On 10/02/2021Great Greens, Resodding Tees
Fox Club is always a great experience. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Several tees were being resodded, so some tees were moved up, but it was a nice change of pace. Highly recommended course.
We appreciate you leaving a review and rating us 5 stars. We work hard to provide an exceptional experience, and it's very satisfying to hear from golfers like you who appreciate our efforts. We look forward to having you back The Fox Club!
Royal St. Cloud Golf Links - Red/White Course
Played On 08/15/2021Recent Aeration on White 9
Please be aware that the greens on the White 9 were recently aerated. The greens on the Blue 9 were in good shape. Pace of play about as expected for a weekend round at RSC.
Baytree National Golf Links
Played On 05/23/2021Firm Fairways and Good Greens
The fairways were nice and firm and the greens were in good condition. Course is aerating the greens 5/23 and 5/24, so keep an eye on that for the next few weeks.
North Shore Golf Course
Played On 04/04/2021North Shore in Nice Shape
Course was in good shape, except perhaps forvthe bunkers, which seemed to have a ton of really soft sand in them. Greens rolled nice but weren't overly quick. Would recommend it right now.

Played On 09/28/2019First Time at The Fox Club
My friend and I played The Fox Club for the first time last weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the value of the experience. The course almost feels like the nines were built at different times - the front nine is very narrow with elevated and undulating green complexes. The back nine is a bit wider and the greens are slightly more forgiving. The course was in excellent condition except for a few tee boxes. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the pace of play was terrific. The pro shop and restaurant were still in a "soft opening" phase for public play, so food and drink options were limited, but should improve in the future. With prices competitive with other nearby courses, I'll definitely be back to The Fox Club.
Thank you for your kind words! We are thrilled with how much you enjoyed your visit with us! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience! Thanks for choosing The Fox Club!
Viera East Golf Club
Played On 07/04/2018Viera East 7/4/18
Played Viera East on July 4th in the early afternoon. Course was in fairly good shape for this time of year. Greens still showed some signs of an aeration that likely occurred 3-4 weeks ago. Greens are very firm right now, I had 2-3 balls hit the green and bounce or roll through them. Overall a nice course on the Space Coast.
Harmony Golf Preserve
Played On 04/08/2018Firm and Fast Greens @ Harmony
Found a great deal on an early morning tee time at Harmony on Masters Sunday and had to take advantage. The course is in very good condition considering the lack of recent rain. Greens were firm and fast, fairways were in nice shape, and even though some tee boxes were spotty, they were in improved shape.
The course is always fun to play, with a nice variety of holes to keep it interesting. One of my favorites in the area.
Palmer at Saddlebrook Golf & Tennis Resort
Played On 03/18/2018Palmer Course @ Saddlebrook
First time playing the Palmer Course at Saddlebrook Resort. Course layout was very nice, with diverse types of holes. Common theme on the course is the demanding green complexes, definitely a second shot course. Greens were fast and firm, a little "crusty" as the pros would say.
Give yourself extra time prior to your tee time. The clubhouse is some distance from the valet parking entrance, and the driving range is a bit of a drive away from the pro shop. Thankfully the staff is very helpful.
North Shore Golf Course
Played On 02/03/2018Two Distinct Nines at North Shore
North Shore has a great layout, with the front nine having wider fairways and the back nine winding through an oak grove, and provides a nice mix of holes. The greens were in nice shape with moderate speed, and were receptive to good shots. Staff were helpful and courteous. The course was busy, and the round was just under 5 hours. Overall, I recommend North Shore.
Mission Inn Resort & Club - Las Colinas Course
Played On 09/08/2017Don't Overlook the Las Colinas Course at Mission Inn
The Las Colinas Course at Mission Inn Resort may have less name recognition than the El Campeon Course, but it provides a great day of golf. The course meanders through the rolling hills, and requires players to use every club in the bag to navigate it. Ay my mosy receny visiy the course was in excellent condition. The greens had been verticut within the last week, but rolled true. Players can usually find great deals online, and Las Colinas is a great value for the money.
Harmony Golf Preserve
Played On 10/25/2015Great Value for the Quality of Course
The Johnny Miller designed Harmony Golf Preserve is a very nice golf course. It has several holes with wide and generous fairways, while other holes are narrower and require a more thoughtful approach to the strategy. The biggest challenge on the course is the long par-5 5th hole, which requires two good shots just to have mid-iron into a well-protected green.
The course conditions were very good. The fairways and tee boxes were in good shape.
The greens are very soft, leading to a large number of unrepaired ball marks. (That's not the course's fault - that's on us as golfers.) The greens are rolling true, but are only at a medium speed right now. Some green complexes have significant undulation, so from a pace-of-play perspective I can understand why the course may not want to get the greens up to 10+.
I enjoyed playing the course so much on the 24th that I went back and played it again on the 25th. Harmony provides a great golf experience and an excellent value at its current price point.
Panther Lake at Orange County National
Played On 09/07/2015Panther Lake @ Orange County National
We played Panther Lake at Orange County National for the first time on Labor Day. Overall, the course was in very good condition. The fairways and tee boxes were in nice shape, and the greens were receptive to approach shots and rolling smoothly. The course design provided a great variety of holes throughout the round, and often provided challenging risk/reward situations.
Although overall we had a nice experience, there were a few areas that the course could improve on: First was pace of play. We played in just over 5 hours and waited at just about every tee box and fairway. We saw the marshal only once early in the round. A course representative later admitted that the marshal transitioned to a starter in the early afternoon, leaving the course without a marshal. Second, there weren't enough places to get water on the course; and unfortunately the main supply was on the marshal's cart. Lastly, there was a minor miscommunication on where to pick up range balls, leaving several grounds wandering around asking where to get balls.
At the right price, I would play Orange County National again.
Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons Resort Orlando
Played On 07/26/2015Great Course for a Special Occasion
My dad and I played Tranquilo Golf Club for the first time last weekend. Although we generally play mid-tier courses, we decided to splurge a little to celebrate his birthday, and after scouring the Internet for reviews and deals, chose Tranquilo. The entire experience did not disappoint, from the nice clubhouse, friendly and attentive staff, great practice area, and the beautiful course. We had a very enjoyable round and played in just over 4 hours. Course conditions were excellent, even with a few fairways that had a sand top-dressing on them. We will definitely be back at Tranquilo, and I would highly recommend this course.
Park Ridge Golf Course
Played On 01/24/2015Park Ridge - Hilly Links Style Course
I played Park Ridge Golf Course for the first time on 1/24 through a GolfNow Hot Deals tee time. The weather was overcast and very windy, and combined with the links style course, I thought I had been transported to Ireland or Scotland, even though I was just in Lake Worth.
The course is as advertised - a unique experience for South Florida with a combination of links style holes and elevation changes. This is most evident on the #1 handicap 8th hole, which drops 50+ feet from the fairway down to the green. There are also several par 3's that are severely uphill, forcing a blind tee shot.
Overall I was very pleased with the course conditions, particularly the fairways and greens. All of the greens were in good shape and seemed to be the same speed. I will definitely play Park Ridge Golf Course again.
Heron Bay Golf Course
Played On 09/27/2014Soggy and Inconsistent Course Conditions
This was my first trip to Heron Bay Golf Club, and unfortunately I was disappointed with the overall course conditions. Certain things were out of the staff's control - an ample amount of recent rain had left the fairways soggy, forcing cart path only play. Other conditions could not be blamed solely on the weather. The greens looked like they had been aerated within the last 3 weeks, but were not recovering at the same rate, and were inconsistent in condition and speed. Furthermore, the bunkers, which are supposed to be the feature design element of the course, were not in good condition either and had weeds, rocks, and hard-compacted sand in them.
I was pleased with the staff's customer service, and with the large practice facility. However, given the current overall condition of the course, I unfortunately cannot recommend Heron Bay Golf Club. Perhaps the course will be in better condition during the high season.
