About
Solid off the tee long and accurate, accuracy with long irons could use some work but getting better, and short game is pretty solid mainly short irons and putting. Wish I knew more people in AZ to play with cause it can get boring playing by yourself. I'm originally from Chicago and just moved out here. If your up for a round let me know :)

Desert Mirage Golf Course
Played On 9/29/2013Tiny overcrowded course in bad condition
I think the summary says it all. I had a 9:20 tee time and didn't get out until almost 10 because they were short on carts, followed by getting stuck behind three walkers that were horrible at best, and last but not least the course was in terrible shape. The greens were lumpy and uncut, tree branches were chopped all over, sand in the sand traps look like rock filler and no rakes, and the fairways were okay. This is a beginner course at most and will not be returning.
Grand Canyon University Golf Course
Played On 9/28/2013Decent at best
Course was in decent shape, staff was not very helpful, short on carts, and not very friendly about bringing my daughter as a ride along. Walkers make golfing here very pathetically slow. I can't believe that in 2013 people still want to walk 18 holes unless your that cheap. Not to mention its in the middle of the ghetto and it's more expensive than most places in nicer areas. Most likely will not return.
Villa de Paz Golf Course
Played On 9/7/2013Nice course could use a little work
Overall pretty nice but greens could use a little attention, pace wasn't too bad, lots of nice dog legs and slopes, and some pretty overgrown spots here and there. I would go again but at a cheaper rate then $27.
Peoria Pines Golf Club
Played On 9/2/2013Another disappointment!!!
Overpayed first off because it was on a holiday, greens were in horrible shape, pace was pathetic and it wasn't even busy, no ranger in site anywhere to keep people moving, and every hole basically looked the same. Will not be returning. There are too many courses in AZ to waste my time and money to give them another chance.
Starfire Golf Club - The King Course
Played On 9/1/2013Beautiful CC and great price!!!
Absolutely beautiful courses, very friendly staff, great prices, and pristine condition. Lots of big shade trees to stay cool in that hot AZ sun too. Pace was pretty good considering how busy it was there and the cart girl made her rounds a few times to keep us hydrated not to mention ice cold water on almost every hole. Great job folks I will definitely be back again!!! Not to mention at the end of my round one of the starters even cleaned my clubs when I returned my cart that was pretty nice of them!!!!
Sundance Golf Club
Played On 8/31/2013Would never go back!!!!
What can I say but bad experience overall. Rude pro shop staff, snail pace on the course, not enough carts, and located in the middle of nowhere Buckeye in a retirement community (hence the snail pace). The only reason I can give it two stars is that the course itself was immaculate but totally overcrowded cause it's the only course within 10-15 miles of there. Would never consider going back there, plenty of courses closer to home that are in just as good shape and without the attitude and same price range!!!
Arizona Traditions Golf Club
Played On 8/25/2013Nice course!
Very nice overall will definitely be back again. Lots of other things to do besides golf too and I wish I would have brought the kids. Course overall in excellent shape can't find anything bad to say about it.
Agave Highlands
Played On 7/27/2013Solid overall
Great course to play but a lot of grumpy old people that take forever. It would have been great overall if not for that. Course was in great shape though.
Southern Ridge Golf Club
Played On 5/23/2013Good easy course
Overall nice slow greens, fairways in good shape, but just don't miss them or your going to be in the rocky sandy desert landscape. Lots of par 5's and par 3's which I like cause too many par 4's gets boring to me. The only thing I really didn't like was the landscape outside of the fairways and greens but it is Phoenix and that's just something you have to deal with here at certain courses. Good overall value for the money cause I got a hot deal for $14 including cart and 18 holes!!
Tres Rios Golf Course at Estrella Mountain Park
Played On 5/18/2013Good solid course for the money! Love the scenery
Went above my expectations, greens were in good shape, fairways werent brown, and some nice slopes here and there. I also brought my 6 year old daughter along just to ride with me cause i had no one to watch her and the staff (hector) was very nice about it and I really appreciated it. Got stuck behind two slow, grumpy old players who didn't seem to want me to play through or didn't know what course etiquette was so it took longer then expected but besides them, would have been done pretty quickly. Overall good experience and will definitely be back again soon and I really liked the mountains all around so it made for some nice scenery :)
Coldwater Golf Club
Played On 5/9/2013Overall good but greens were in terrible shape
Went out by myself early in the morning during the week and got through 18 holes in less than 3 hours! Really nice course but the greens were terrible, it was like putting on lumpy concrete. Will probably try again in a few weeks and hopefully they have resolved it by then cause besides that it was a nice place. Usually I'm about a 9 handicap but those greens cost me at least 5 strokes and I ended up shooting an 87.
