Loved the course and playing in the beauty of Starr Pass. During this time of year the fairway was dyed green which enhanced the beauty but made it difficult to get under the ball
Would definitely play it again when we visit Tucson

We understand the staff at Johnson Ranch double booked the noon tee time and we were at 12:08 so we had to wait at every hole.
The sand traps were in terrible shape. Afterwards the staff told us the sand traps were considered unplayable. That would have saved strokes and increase the pace of play.
There was a twosome in front of us that were very rude to my wife. Now I realize that is nothing that Johnson Ranch is responsible for but it was upsetting

Loved everything but we signed up for a 2:32 tee time and we’re not told that carts had to be in at 5:15 If I was told that I never would have taken the cost savings of the 2:32 tee time. So we didn’t complete our 18 holes.
Course and scenery were great.
