This was my first time playing the international at champions gate and I was very impressed. I’ve played many of the public courses in the Orlando area since moving here in 2017, and this was definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had.

The links-style layout is very unique compared to most courses in the area, and forces you to think strategically about every shot. The conditions were excellent from tee to green. The fairways can be very narrow and the greens were hard so it can be tough to get approach/chip shots to check up, but that’s links golf. It also has nice views for a resort course, and many holes are far enough away from the resort that they manage to be peaceful.

I had a lot of fun playing the international and for the price you really can’t beat it. We got a hot deal for $40 earlier in the day which was well worth it, but I’ve seen afternoon prices as low as $20-$30, which is an absolute steal.

There isn’t a more well-maintained course in Orlando in this price range. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition (and incredibly fast), along with rough and bunkers. $25 is a steal. The layout is also interesting as it is a links-style course, which can be hard to find in Florida. Not too many hazards to worry about but the greens are incredibly tough due to the speed and many undulations. Overall, this is a very fun and well-kept course and it is definitely worth the drive.
