Quick 9 good rate

Great for kids, beginners. Will make better golfers hit clubs and shots they usually don't. Greens are fairly small and crowned. Good time for the price of a bucket of balls.

Tease

Greens and fast greens make this course interesting based on comparable in the valley. They are large and sloped and when fast very challenging. This course could be elite in Az. But for the bunker condition, dirt, hard packed, really more desert hard pan than greens idea bunker..Tease.

Very Nice and not your typical muni

Course was just coming out of overseeding so greens were very slow but also very receptive. Actually backed up a couple of Iron shots which is not typical for me. Rough on several holes was very thick for Arizona which made fairways premium. Due to recent overseeding grounds crew was out in force which is usually a good sign. Some very basic golf etiquette by their staff would have gone a long way.

ARIZONA MONSOONS

Phoenix is having a true monsoon season this year, leading up my round Stonecreek was unable to mow as they normally would which created some dramatic rough. This course runs thru a wash/slight raving and gets more than it's fair shair of runoff, definitely not your typical Az. rough but certainly a challenge. Very unique course to the Phoenix area and fun to play. The greens were hard, as in concrete. Five or six shots in with a wedge and could not hold the green by a lot.
Overall good value.

Good balance of challenge and opportunity

Excellent condition overall, helped that it was perfect weather. Green pin location and contour make putting a premium. Only drawback would be some bunkers have not been worked leaving a very minimal amount of sand.
