Very nice!

Enjoyed this course. Frankly if It were closer to Slidell, LA. I would join!

Practice facilities were superb. Clubhouse Staff, F&B, Merchandise, and Customer Service were all on point.

Course conditions were really good, fairways were dry (very hot day) so the ball rolled off quite a bit. If it’s your first time playing this course, I wouldn’t recommend playing by yourself considering there’s several blind shots — when you hit it long it can be problematic, but rewarding if you get it right.

My favorite of all, even tee boxes (which is a pet peeve of mine), clean without excessive divots and turf patches. Fairways were wide and inviting, lots of room to play around. Greens had a little sand left from aeration, but rolled true for the most part.

Course maintenance was constant, but not intrusive. Ground were impeccable, it was a beautiful day, I mean no complaints at all. Great job boys!

Overall, from beginning to end, a lot of fun out there at The Oak Golf Club — will definitely be back!

First Round in NOLA!

This course didn’t miss. Was able to get out without a tee time and allowed to start on the back nine. Due to a large young crowd of patrons that were hitting up the twilight rate.

Tee boxes, limited fairways, and greens were all immaculate. No disappointments. Course is pretty challenging using the irons but manageable, with a couple holes that are drivable. Another thing you should be mindful of, this is a very active community (picnics, joggers, dogs, and families with strollers) so be mindful of shot selection as it is can come in contact with others or distractions in your pre-shot routine/ backswing.

Pro shop attendant was superb (larger man working evening shift, bearded) and accommodating. Since this was my first round in NOLA, I bought some reasonably priced AP swag. Lots of good options.

Honestly if I didn’t live on the North shore I’d likely give this track more play — weekly basis. Great day with some beautiful weather!

A must play!

I will definitely play CT Myers again!

It was my first time playing in CLT since moving here in Q3 2020.

This course didn’t disappoint, at all. I booked a great weekday lunch time rate. Great service, by Issac in the pro shop - helped with my tee time and course navigation.

I took notice of the amenities that are HUGE for me at any course, I’ve found myself to be picky over the years — it’s my money, right?

The driving range is pretty sizable, which runs parallel to the putting green behind it. The highlights for me were the tee boxes, fairways, greens, and elevation changes. I. Loved. It! These are items I look for In course to wish to play consecutively.

Downfalls, pace out the gate was a little stubborn due to the seniors that were out enjoying the beautiful NC weather - can’t blame them it was a perfect day. I should add I was paired with a local and was able play through three groupings. They all were intuitive and gracious.

I highly recommend playing this course with a local if it’s your first time, a lot to gain and strokes can be saved — lots of strokes.

Overall the course conditions were GREAT - from tee to green.

In the famous words of the robotic philosopher -- I’ll be back!

The Golf Club at Eagle Creek

Neighborhood course, and not COVID-19 recommended.

Obviously playing golf in the wake of COVID-19 is a risk in most public spaces, golf course are not the exception. The Golf Club at Eagle Creek should be taking precautions beyond posting signage in the clubhouse and fabricating hand sanitizer that feels like a glue and soap mix much more serious.

When we visiting this course the golf carts were not wiped down, they were allowing patrons to ride multiple players per cart. (The new industry standard is one player to a cart and the starter observes the carts while they are disinfected) I saw a couple had there son in the middle of the golf cart, which 3 to a cart is unbelievable. They ran out of carts and were distributing them as they were returned. A groundsman issued our cart to us, as is. When asked to wipe it down, he walked over to a blue sludge bucket and grabbed a dirty towel dipped it in the water and proceeded to wipe our golf cart down.

This was unimaginable, considering the times that we are living in were cleanliness is no longer an option, it’s a priority. This modicum and process told me everything I needed to know about how serious The Golf Club at Eagle Creek is handling sanitation and distribution of golf carts. We had plans to eat and participate and padding the local business in the form of buying food drinks and other things from the clubhouse. However, after watching this display and how things are being handled in other areas we decided not to. The only reason why we continued out to the course is because I had an H20 and bleach blend to spray our cart and golf balls.

Be mindful as well, that the locals make you feel weird both on and off the course, almost a feeling like “where did y’all come from?” I don’t know how you fix that, but as they say “you can’t fix stupid!”

You should know that with the exception of the pro shop staff the locals are down home. As we were making the turn there was a bike rally at the pro shop. Extremely loud bikes with music. Unlike anything at a golf course we’ve experienced played.

The course was very much wide open, but the conditions were not as advertised. Clearly, the locals are doing the reviews. But, in fairness to the conditions of the course it was very wide open and the greens were in phenomenal shape. Tee boxes, nope! Fairways, nope! Very bad tee boxes and fairways. This course is outlined by single family homes so if you hit one out of play you’ll possibly be in the backyard of someone’s home or in there pool.

To the GM or Head Pro, as a suggestion please consider only allowing one player per cart particularly if there are teetimes booked in advance. Also please consider putting a small inch cut PVC pipe inside the flag-pin so the ball does not go down in the hole where other players are sticking their hands. Lastly please encourage players to not take the flag out of the hole as germs pass freely when this happens.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to review your recent round with us. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience that you experienced during your round. Hilarious review! You couldn’t be more wrong about eagle creek they do so much for the community and as far as I’ve seen have taken lots of sanitation steps and we play there weekly. If you were really trying to “suggest” things why didn’t you say anything to the staff or email them directly instead of writing a book to try and bash and great local place.

Second time, was as consistent as the first.

Great practice facilities and well maintained. Course was in great shape and drained well after multiple Southeast Florida showers prior.

You can expect clean and even tee boxes, plush fairways that are properly maintained. The greens *GASP* were pretty fast and didn’t allow for many mistakes. Particularly approach shots that you expect to hold the green. However, if you’re mindful to place your shots, you’ll be rewarded with a perfect putting surface that rolls consistent and true.

Feedback is critical to maintain a course like Florida Club. So, I’ll make one assertion...make sure the cart signs are aligned with the GPS for on the holes. For example, the physical cart signs in the ground indicated that most of the fairways were open, but the GPS on the carts instructed opposite. Needless to say the cart prevails because you’re stuck in the fairway trying to muscle up pushing the golf cart out of the restricted area. Small details that lead to adverse blow back (pace of play, track the fairways, seniors need assistance, etc.). The devils in the details.

Minus that small provision, Florida Club is a grand slam!

First time out!

Punch lines only...here we go!

Pros:

Driving range has a pyramid of golf ball to practice prior to the round.

Practice putting green is sautéed with practice balls that is indicative to the course conditions.

A practice bunker to hit some shots as a last opportunity to fine turn your game prior to going off to the first tee.

The course was outstanding, LOTS of elevated greens. The green were true and very fast.

Fairways were clean and well kept.

Tee boxes were perfect — keep it that way, fill in your divots.

The course has a member centric atmosphere, so be prepared for multiple personal golf carts. Non-issue for me.

Cons:

There were nats everywhere — don’t expect anything about that.

The greens were saturated with ants, I mean hundreds of ants on each hole. Not sure, but this was the first time I ever experienced anything so polarizing. Normally I wouldn’t care, but when you have to choose between making a 15 footer or getting lit up by a gang of ants. Hard to forget.

To conclude, the staff was hospitality driven. The pro shop staff, the cart crew, the beverage cart staff, and the food/beverage staff were truly incredible.

Lost Lake will be seeing me again!

Haven’t been back since 2016, astonished!

It was a joy to walk the fairways of WPGC! You can tell that your in for a treat when you pull in.

Don’t expect a driving range, our sand bunkers to practice out of. Nope, a putting green in the perfect location just before you tee off.

The club house is so awesome, very warm and welcoming with a first class staff. Lots of smiling faces, and an adequate supply of odds and ends for you.

The tee boxes were cut perfect during my round. Fairways were plush and very green (not a lot of dead spot as I remembered in 2016). The greens, Wow! Well done, smooth and rolled true. Even the bunkers were in pristine shape!

The only draw back, you have to control your ball. This course is nestled in the belly of Winter Park with luxurious homes, on-coming traffic, and graveyard...yes a graveyard. So be both mindful and respectful. :).

Lastly, I was playing with a very kind gentleman. I mentioned water coolers. Don’t look for the water coolers...no no no, water fountain! There are water fountains on the course. Very different and welcomed!

Long story short, you have to play this course! Don’t think twice about, guaranteed fun!

It’s fun to play! Good layout!

Fairways on a lot of the holes were in great shape, very plush. Tee boxes are in need of some TLC. Greens are rolling great, still had a little sand on them, but true. The bunkers are well manicured and very deep, bring you hiking stake. I was lucky enough to hit out of a couple of them, soft and very gamer friendly.

Also, the course puts the sand rakes on the back of the carts, very bizzare considering the rack could scratch your driver or long woods. Wasn’t sure why the did that, very bizzare.

The staff was great, I spoke with John who was very curtious and accommodating. The practice facilities was okay, driving range grass was fried, and patchy. Big putting green, very useful and in good condition. The putting green also has a sand trap attached for your convenience.

Long story short, of your looking for a fun layout, nice staff, and course that actually has a good amount of water coolers on the course to beat the Central Florida heat. Give your dollars to Wekiva Golf Club; especially if you can score HOT DEAL with GolfNow.

Hits the spot, everytime!

I really enjoy playing this course. For many reasons obviously, but specifically because everything is so peaceful out on the course. The staff, Brett and Ashley are always SUPER!

The starters, Normally you run into a group of bitter old guys that are hot shot know-it-alls. Not this crew, they are polite, and informative! Which I appreciate.

I can't remember them by name but it's always a group of older gentleman that don't pressure or pester, contrarily they invite you to enjoy the course.

Pace of play has never been an issue for me at The Saints. Conditions, after a rainy day it needs a couple days to recover (mainly a few fairways). Once again, not usually a issue for me.

I truly enjoy the practice areas. Big putting green, and decent size driving range. You know, a range that you can actually hit your driver on, but forces you to be accurate. The grass on the range is always pristine, which makes a difference for the gamers.

Keep up the great work, this course has a big time feel. I'll be back for sure!

Great course, subpar practice facilites.

Great course, great staff, but the practice facilities needs some love. The putting green is okay, but the driving range should be a focal point for this course.

The course conditions were very good. You can't tell the architect was out to prove a point. you have to hit the ball straight to be proud of your score card. If not, still okay but you'll toss the score card at the turn.

Another thing that first timers will appreciate is knowing that this course is off the beaten path. Its a nice little fine, in a community that has a southern low country feel to it. Very bizzare for FL, be prepare to see farm land, and horses.

Not for nothing Black Bear was worth the trip from Sandford, FL. Hope the GM and owner will improve the practice facilities.

Awful! Horrible conditions, don't make the trip!

This place looks border line closed If your visiting FL, trying to play a course base on reviews like I do, don't be fooled by this one. It. Is. Absolutely. Horrible.

1.) No range balls.
2.) Broken golf carts.
3.) Hundreds of sand traps, not single rake. ZERO.
4.) No scorecards.

Staff are we're all to concerned about taking my money, and they completely alienated that I was a first time visitor that they didn't supply me with directions how to get around the course. Why is this a issue, you ask? Because their is no sign telling you here to go.

The course, fairways are without grass full of dirt and dead spots. Tee boxes are uneven, greens are...well let's just say they are intolerable.

Sad to say but this looks like another course that's trying to grow their dead pockets, before trying to grow the game. This course is so shot out, they don't even provide a recipe for you round, this guy said I can email it to me or and I quote "right it on something."

Haha yeah I'm good buddy, some will be getting called for this. Horrid experience, possible worst ever for a FL golf course.

Best of luck.

Anything goes...never again!

Another low country conglomerate golf course with no ranger. Thought this course was going to be great based on the reviews. As an optimist, what a waste of my time.

Be prepared to play behind a family of seven all on the tee box at once, and a four some of old men that think they own the course.

I am a fair golfer (10 handicap), and business man neither of which is welcomed at this course. I took a risk to enjoy the 30 mile ride out, and was extremely dissatisfied. I would not recommend Diamondback. Amongst numerous courses closing in the MB portfolio, this one may be next.
