This course is in excellent shape and very well maintained. The pro shop staff is very friendly and solicitous. We were the first on Friday morning so we were able to play in under 4 hours so I can't really comment on pace of play. I do not like the design of this course. There are far too many blind shots. Every green seems to have the same slope which may be comfortable for some, I found it monotonous. There are some holes on this course where there simply is no good shot. Seems unfair when good shots are punished. I am sure that some people would find this course interesting it's just not for me.

Ridgefield Ranch is an interesting track. There are several challenging holes. Unfortunately, the greens are in terrible shape. Bumpy, shaggy, and slow. Pace of play was the biggest problem. There was a foursome followed by 4 threesomes. The foursome was not playing ready golf and generally playing slow. From hole#3 on there were 3 open holes in front of them. Our group waited 10 minutes at each tee. No Marshall said anything to the slow group or moved them along. 5 hours is ridiculous for this course. For the money, there are far better courses nearby. I will not play this course again.

Course is in fairly good shape. Easy layout. Would be a good value except for the painfully slow pace of play. Marshal was not to be seen at any time. I won't play here again.

Pace of play on this course was very slow. 11:30-5:30 is too long for 18 holes in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and courteous. This may have been part of the problem. The course marshall was not moving one slow foursome along that was holding up 5 groups behind them. The course is in good shape and well maintained. I like the layout. Just too slow today. I wuld not pay full price for this course. With the GolfNow discount it was a reasonable value.

This is a great resort style course. The staff is very accomodating and eager to ensure that their guests have a great experience. Range balls are included in the greens fees. I palyed as a single and every group in front of me allowed me to play through. I finnished 18 holes in about 2.5 hours. The course is in great shape. I highly reccomend this course.

I drove 40 miles looking forward to playing this course. A friend warned me he had a bad experience at this course. I should have listened. This is, hands down, the worst managed course I have ever had the misfortune to play. I arrived early to warm up and was told there were no carts available. No problem, I went and hit on the range and was told to return at 12:00. When I returned, still no carts. Back to the range. This happened 4times. There is no public address system, no starter, no staff members outside of the clubhouse to assist golfers. The staff is incompetent to handle the volume of players on a weekend day. To be fair, the employees are probably doing their best. The management is simply abysmal. This was one of the worst experiences I have had in 40 years of playing courses around the world. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
