Rolling through W Virginia and found this place, gotta be honest on the way there I wasn’t expecting much I got there and this place was beautiful and the people were so nice and for the price I paid it’s ridiculously cheap

Rescheduled my round due to high winds in the area so chose Rhodes Ranch and what a good decision, great conditions and a great place to play a round of golf

Read a few mixed reviews before booking but soon realized this place is tremendous. Great conditions tee to green and the course marshall kept pace of place moving.

Everything about the resort was good, no complaints at all and very close to downtown Phoenix

Very professional place for a public course from the cart guys, guys in pro shop and even a great starter who didn’t say a word when I lined up from the tips which is unusual but appreciated (see a guy hit first).

I agree with many people who say this golf course is magnificent all round because it is, however I also agree it’s not the place for your average weekend golfer who’s handicap is higher. It’s tough, mentally draining because of the landing zones you have to hit and then most greens are elevated with run offs and the greens are quick. So basically what I’m saying is it’s a great course for golfers who play regularly and want a new challenge but it would be quite miserable for the high handicappers out there

I play a lot of golf now rounds and never write reviews, until now. I was an out of state single booking through golf now, everyone’s nightmare right but they treated me like I was a member. Everyone from the pro shop to the starter to Cathy and Eric in the restaurant. Course was in great shape and the greens were quick for this time of the year. It’s public but it shines

Played a few rounds already around NJ in March and most courses are still trying to reach adequate conditions and I’ve refarined from any type of negative review because it’s to be expected this time of year. Spooky Brook however deserves a shout out for the standard of its greens so early in the season, credit to all involved because they were in unbelievable shape and rest of the course wasn’t bad either and was beginning to take shape.

Beautiful course and in very good condition considering recent weather , played on a nice Sunday morning at peak time and got round in 3hrs 40mins everything went smoothly and we will be back for sure

Chose a highly rated course for an early weekend round and drove a long way to play MV for the first time. Staff was good, rangers out keeping the pace of play but the course conditions dissapointed me somewhat, played a lot of courses through golf now with lower ratings which were better and cheaper. On the other hand this course wasn’t a hackers paradise and maybe once the conditions improve throughout the season I’ll be back

First time playing here and I have to say the conditions were very good, the greens were superb. For beginners the greens are too fast, but if you play golf and appreciate good greens you'll appreciate these. I must admit if I wasn't playing with guys who have played the course before I wouldn't have had a clue where to go or where to aim, tricky windy undulating course. I'll be back for sure

Played here last year and it was a decent course, after reading the reviews I was worried to play this year but the course isn't bad, yeah the rough is a little rough with grass clippings abundant and the tee boxes are a little bare and bumpy but overall the things the matter meaning the fairways and greens were in very good condition. If you find a good deal go and play a round

This course was very enjoyable and in extremely good condition considering the amount of rain that has fell recently. Fairways and greens were immaculate, the course layout was great and overall a very nice place to play golf. On the downside the rough was a little long, I drove balls into the first cut and ended up losing balls and the tee boxes were in pretty rough shape. Overall a very good course for the price but with a few small changes it could be wonderful.

Great people, beautiful golf course and very good food. Some very challenging holes, some easy holes and course was in great condition.
