All is excellent except three greens that are bald/dry

I selected a Hot Deal online to play the course. When I arrived the pro shop attendant tried to discourage me from playing: “we have a high school tournament today and they are walking...they are using two of our three nine hole courses and you will be playing slow...will take you all day. “ I said I would play the remaining nine hole course twice.
When we got to the start he said, “the course your plating is under repair...there are no tee boxes...you’ll have to tee off next to the tee boxes.”
I had prepaid the round of golf and was playing with an invited guest who drove down from another county just to play Grand Palms. Needless to say, the play was a disaster. And then, after playing two holes of the second nine, thunder and lightning struck. All.players stopped. I asked the pro shop attendant if we could get a rain check: “No, there was no rain; wait for the rain and maybe we’ll issue a rain check.”...if I had known that the course would be under such conditions I would not have purchased the round.

This is a unique, "old" golf course in an "older" part of South Florida (1920's). The course is not long, but it is challenging and attractive.

Excellent round of golf...unique environment..."old Florida" landscaping in most of the course...a very quiet environment thanks to landscaping. Fairways in very good condition...3 or 4 greens a bit lumpy. Great clubhouse for snacks or sandwiches; parking right next to bag drop off. Easily reached from I-75.
