Not bad at all, if you like right lies.

Fairways are narrow and undulating and hard to hit (loved it). Very tight lies everywhere. Almost like West Texas hard pan, but with a little grass. Greens were in very good shape. They held very well, putted true and we’re nice and fast (10 or 11, as a guess). Note: blind tee shots and hard fairways lend a hand in encroaching on the group in front of you. Be careful.

Grew up playing this course in high school, almost 30 years ago. I carry an 8 and never touch the ball from tee to green (except within the rules), but I had to play the ball up today because EVERY lie in the fairway went to a valley. So, you can either hit it from a bad lie or from an elevated lie, neither is very good. The greens were not too bad. They didn't hold great, but held well enough, and they putted fairly true with I'd say about a 9 or possibly a 10 on the Stimp. That, and the fact it was a holiday weekend and we played in 3 hours and 10 minutes were the saving factors and why I didn't rate this old course as POOR. Grow some grass in the fairways!!!!
