The greens were bumpy and had been Verdi cut. It was hard to read them at times due to the conditions.

The rest of the course was in good condition

Upon arrival checked in went to starter and checked in with him. In 2 minutes we were on the tee and ready to go.
The course is in great shape . The fairways are in great shape. They are a little tight in places. The greens are in great shape also . If you like fast greens .play this course.
Had a good time it was slow some of the time but the group in front of us who slowed us down quit after nine and our play increased .

I found this course to be hard to play. The greens are lightening fast. man I got on them in regulation but I sure could not putt them.
I only had 3 pars on the front and 2 on the back nine.
The putting just ate me up. The greens were in great shape. They were greased lightening.The fairways were in good shape after being over seeded.

This is the 4 th time I have played this course. I still.have a problem playing it. The course us loaded with grass bunkers and sand traps. They also have numerous areas you cannot see that are flooded due to the irrigation system flooding the low lying areas.
It is hard to see trouble ahead because they are in low areas that you cannot see. This is not on just a couple of holes but on the entire course.
When you think you hit A good shot you go looking for your ball and it has rolled into into A 8 feet or so deep grass bunker with water in the bottom. This makes it a hard course to play.

WE PLAYED THIS COURSE FOR THE FIRST TIME .
I HAD A HARD TIME WITH THE COURSE. THEY HAD GRASS BUNKERS INFRONT OF THE GREENS AND ALL OVER THE FAIRWAYS. THEY WERE HARD TO GET OUT OF WITH A DECENT SHOT.
I COULD NOT GET ANY ROLL ON THE BALL .
THE GREENS WERE HARD FOR ME TO PUT ON . THE COURSE RAN THROUGH A TRAILER PARK AND IF NOT FOR PLAYING WITH PEOPLE THAT KNEW THE COURSE WE WOULD STILL BE LOOKING FOR SOME OF THE HOLES. I FOUND THE COURSE VERY HARD FOR ME TO PLAY. IF I PLAYED IT A FEW MORE TIMES I AM SURE I WOULD DO MUCH BETTER. I COULD NOT BELIEVE I HAD A 90.

TOOK US 4.5 HRS TO PLAY. GROUPS INFRONT OF US WERE VERY SLOW .
THE FAIRWAYS ARE SCALPED AND THERE ARE LARGE AREAS WITH LARGE BARE SPOTS.
IT HAS BECOME A COMMON PRACTICE TO NOT HAVE MARSHALS ON THE COURSE TO SPEED UP PLAY. THIS COURSE IS NO ACCEPTION

Club members were allowed to.play in groups of 5 two groups playing back to back holding up play. They would not let any body play through them.
Complained to pro shop. They said the members were allowed to hold up play.

I have played numerous rounds of golf at this club. It is a long drive for me to play. I will never play it again because they allow 5 and 6 players on the course. The group refused to allow players to play through them because they say they are playing a tournament. They had a group of 5 playing in front of them who were also playing in the supposed Tournement. There were no other players in the tournament. These 2 groups held up the entire course behind them.
I complained at the pro shop and was advised by the asst pro that the group was the mens club and are allowed to hold up play. I was also attacked verbally by one of the players. Who insisted they were members and allowed to hold up play.

WE DROVE THE 40 MILES TO THE COURSE.
CHECKED IN SENT OUT ABOUT 15 MINUTES EARLY 9:10A.M. FINISHED 1210.
WE ONLY ENCOUNTERED 2 SETS OF 3 IN FRONT OF US. THEY QUIT AFTER 9 HOLES. THEY HAD TOLD ME WHEN I CALLED TO SEE IF THERE WAS CART PATH ONLY. I WAS TOLD I COULD DRIVE ANYWHERE OFF THE PATH.
THIS SOUNDED GOOD. WHEN WE GOT THERE WE NOTICED THE COURSE WAS IN TERRIBLE CONDITION. THEY DID NOT LOOK LIKE THEY HAD WATERED THE COURSE AND THE GRASS WAS ALL DEAD. THE TEES ON SOME OF THE HOLES WERE NOT CUT AND THE GROUND WAS SO HARD YOU COULD NOT GET A TEE IN THE GROUND. I MUST SAY SOME OF THE HOLES ON THE BACK NINE WERE IN BETTER CONDITION THAN THE FRONT NINE. WE TALKED WITH MEMBERS WHO SAID THE COURSE WAS BOUGHT BY SOMEONE ON MONTANA AND THEY HAD NOT TAKEN CARE OF THE COURSE.
IT LOOKED LIKE AHWATUKEE LAKES AND THE CLUB WEST COURSES THAT CLOSED A FEW YEARS BACK.
TO BAD THE HOUSING ADDITION IS NICE AND THE COURSE LOOKS TERRIBLE.
I WILL NEVER PLAY IT AGAIN AND WOULD RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE PLAYS IT BECAUSE AS BAD AS IT IS NOW IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE.
WHO WOULD BUY A GOLF COURSE AND TURN OFF THE WATER AND LET IT GO LIKE THIS. I ASSUME IT WILL BE CLOSING IN A YEAR OR SO IF NOT SOONER. IT SHOULD BE REMOVED AS AN OPTION TO PLAY ON GOLF NOW AND TEE OFF.

the course was slow no ranger.

There was a single in front of my twosome had to wait at the tee at almost every hole. The single had a foursome in front of him that held everybody up.
tee off at 1220 p.m. finished 18 at 3:50 p.m.

The course was in pretty good shape. the greens were a little slow but are coming in very well. the fairways are coming in also very well. This course has desert areas in the rough and surrounding areas that are not maintained and is desert.

The rate of play was poor tee off at 1 p.m finished at 4:45 p.m.
No rangers around to encourage faster play. Waited to hit almost every shot.
Course was in the transition from summer to winter with the fairways and greens scalped.
Course was over priced.

this course is at the base of the superstition mountains and has georges views.
