10 carts lined up staff stating that they are starting everyone off 10 tee when the front nine was completely open. They finally agreed to let us go off the front and play was fine. Back nine super slow finally went around two groups in front of us and found the course completely open. No starter or Marshall. The poor cart girl was apologizing for the disorganization. The course was scalped and dry with patches of dirt in the middle of many fairways.

The course was is great condition esyfor this time of year. The staff was super courteous and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. The course makes you feel like you’re somewhere else besides Phoenix.

Course used to be pretty, airated conditons not advertised and lumps of ground left all over the course and pace was terrible with no marshal to manage

On arrival I noticed a large backup on the 1st tee. I inquired about this before I paid my fee and was told it’s just a lot of private carts. All seemed well for about three holes but then everything slowed way down and noticed that two groups had joined and we were playing behind a group of eight, I told the pro shop that the pace was horrible and they offered nothing.

Tee times running 30 minutes late, no carts, overbooked two hours 7 holes. The pro shop told us they were running behind and then proceeded to sell us a bucket instead of apologizing for the delay and offering a bucket as if our time meant nothing to them.
Customer service has always been a problem at Arizona Golf Resort.

Pace of play great on the front , but they overloaded the back nine so much that it took 20 minutes to play hole 10. There were 3 groups on 10, two groups on the tee box at 11. No course marshal. When I drove back to tell them , no solution was offered except to say that they must have overbooked from the morning. It looked more like they sent every group playing nine off the back instead of spreading groups out heavily affecting those attempting to play eighteen. The club pro there always suggests their arcis card and this type of treatment of players is why I don’t!

Tee time scheduled for 1:34pm , arrived 15 minutes early, saw a dozen golf bags, no carts , and the staff was going to check me in like there wasn’t a problem. They had to be asked before they admitted to a 30-40 minute delay. They told me if I had a problem that I had to contact Golfnow. Contact attempted and a three hour wait time to speak to a representative. No apologies from the course. Unable to contact Golfnow, mo help at the course. No customer respect. Just pay.

About 4-5 years ago you could count on Arizona Golf Resort for poor customer service and an okay golf experience. Then it seemed that things changed, staff started greeting guests a smile and a really positive attitude, I have now been twice this season and stood in the golf area with no greeting at all while the staff joked among themselves. At the golf counter the staff actually walked away and left me standing alone. Ok for a cheap golf and customer service experience.

Staff very friendly and accommodating, course in good shape for the time of year. Greens keeping staff not ready for the faster pace of play this time of year. They were still prepping the greens on many of the back nine holes.
