Cypress Knoll Golf & Country Club
Played On 04/09/2022Good Day
Course was in good condition! The greens and tee boxes were in near perfect condition. The fairways were fine as were the sand traps. The rough needs more grass and less dirt.
Overall a good course!

About a year ago the course redid the greens due to disease. I had played the course many times in the past and I went back today. Because of Covid and my comorbidities I requested my own cart. The pro made me pay an additional $11.00 even though they had virtually no other customers on the course or scheduled. He went on to say that they were getting rid of Golf Now because they were "worthless".
I paid the extra under protest and joined up with another golfer.
We both only played nine holes and walked off because of the horrible conditions. The "greens" were so diseased that all nine that we played were almost completely "black" from disease. The rest of the course was also in very poor condition.
This is an Arnold Palmer designed course and Mr. Palmer would be embarrassed about how the owners have let it run down. The course needs to be shut down and completely renovated or developed into housing.

Overall much better than the last time I played it 7 months ago. Greens were as good as some of the best courses I have played including Pine Valley the #1 rated course in the world according to Golf Digest. The tee boxes, with two or three exceptions were also in great shape. The fairways, rough and other areas were fair.

The greens are now first class and being well maintained. Tee boxes are sub-par. Limited grass in the fairways and less in the rough. Both need aerating and reseeding; It is mostly like hitting off hardpan.

Played On 11/02/2020The owners don't care!
Pace of play was excellent because no other golfers were on the course. It is clear that ownership no longer is putting money into the course. The greens are rapidly becoming no puttable. The fairways are full of weeds. The tee boxes are the worst I have ever played. There is nothing positive about the course conditions.
I have played here many times and for awhile it was looking good but not anymore.
I will not be coming back!

Cant say anything bad about Palm Harbor. Greens, fairways, rough and sand traps all in excellent shape!

Course needs a lot of work. Tee boxes are in poor condition. Many of the greens have patches of grass growing in them.

Course needs a lot of work. the senior and ladies tee boxes need to be repaired. None of the sand traps are playable as they are never raked, have no sand and are filled with weeds. The greens have become so-so with many of those on the back nine now having many weed spots growing in them.

Greens are in excellent condition. Tee boxes mostly good. Fairways good. Rough needs a lot of work. They hav way too many bare spots.

One of the best conditioned courses I have played in Florida since we moved here 3 years ago. It’s only problem is the rough on about 5-6 of the holes.

The last time i played this course about 3 years ago I would have rated everything a one or two. Today the course that he designed was what Arnold Palmer would still be proud to have his name associated with!
