Cypress Knoll Golf & Country Club
Played On 04/20/2023Tight fairways and fairly fast greens
The course is in very good shape outside of a couple of tee boxes that could use a bit of work. Staff was friendly and the clubhouse food was good. The course does not offer much in the way of rough. Either hit the fairly tight fairways or else find yourself either in the woods or in the water. The greens were pretty fast with moderate undulation. All in all, I recommend the course and will be playing there again.
Royal St. Augustine Golf and Country Club
Played On 04/14/2023Worst course in Saint John’s County.
I was Hoping management had improved the course since Zi last played it almost a year ago.? But alas, tees and greens are in terrible shape. I’ve played cow pastures in better shape. I do Not recommend this course. Very sad as it’s the closest course to my home.
Thank you for taking the time to review and rate the course. We just hired a new superintendent and anticipate better conditions later this year! We hope to see you back then.
Golf Club At South Hampton
Played On 02/23/2023Love this course ❤️
I love Playing at SouthHampton. A very fair test of golf. Tees, greens, and fairways were all in very good shape. I highly recommend this course for experienced players. The course rangers do a fairly good job of maintaining pace of play and the cart girls are friendly and competent. I would discourage novice players from starting with this course and direct them to the executive course in nocatee to hone their skills first.
Golf Club At South Hampton
Played On 01/19/2023Great course!
Everything about this course is top notch except for pace of play. To be fair though, almost every local course is dreadfully slow this time of year. Snowbirds and tourists clog up the courses so bad it will try the patience of a Saint.
I highly recommend this course. It is a fair test of golf with fast , tru roll greens. 👍
Cimarrone Golf Club
Played On 04/16/2022Greens are a disaster
Love the course layout. However, the greens and teed are atrocious and some of the fairways are not far behind. Way too expensive for the current condition of the course and not worth it. Both SouthHampton and Saint John’s country club are superior and not that much more expensive and just down the street
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback.
St. Johns Golf Club
Played On 12/18/2021Course is closing for renovations
Course was different. All fairway grass has been killed so the roll out was fantastic. Greens still putt a bit slow. Can’t wait for the 10 month renovation to be completed. I think The course will be a fantastic value to $.
Cimarrone Golf Club
Played On 09/10/2020Greens punched recently.
The course was punched recently so the greens were not very puttable. Lots of rain recently made the corse very soft. I really Like the course but am going hold off playing there again for a few weeks to let the greens heal and water dry up. Such are the travails of summer golf in Florida.. the humidity was 80+%. Miserably, but not the courses fault. The staff is great BTW.
Glenn, thank you for the 4-stars and feedback. We hope to see you back soon.
Cimarrone Golf Club
Played On 08/21/2020Heavy rains the night before made course play long
I’ve played the course several times over the last year. The condition of the greens has greatly improved over that time. I was Surprised that only #1, #10, and #18 were cart path only since there was several inches of rain the night before and we had a 7:20 morning tee time. I was very pleased overall. Will play again soon, hopefully under dryer conditions.
Glenn, thank you for the 4-stars and feedback. We hope to see you back soon!
St. Johns Golf Club
Played On 06/07/2019Nice little public course.
Nice course when it’s dry. If it has been raining forget about it, the course does not drain well. Also, the greens are a bit sketchy in some spots but all in all a good value for the money. I enjoyed My round and the staff was very friendly. Both times I wad there The cafe was closed and no on course beverage cart is provided so bring your own.
Club at Hidden Creek, The
Played On 10/26/2018Best course in the area.
I lucked Out and moved close to the course this last year. I play It almost weekly. I played other courses on the area but this one is by far the best. Really fast greens, and well maintained course. Not much rough to talk about but the traps can be a bear. I high recommend this course.

The staff really takes care of this course. It is a fairly tight compared to othe area courses. White tees about 5800 yds.
I have Enjoyed every round played there. I’m an 18 handicap.
Terra Ceia Bay Golf & Tennis Club
Played On 12/05/2014High wind and small greens
The pace of play is starting to get annoying.
Had to wait almost ten minutes on every tee.
4::30 for a 3500 yard course was frustrating.
Greens are extremely small. Course is really good for working on your short game and distance control. Greens are fairly easy if you can find them.
Jan to May will be unbearable and $30.00? Really.
Play in the off season and you will get your money's worth.
Rosedale Golf & Country Club
Played On 10/22/2014Challenging course for average golfer.
The course was still a bit damp and the 90 degree rule made for a long round.
Having said that, I enjoyed my round and look forward to my next round.
I played the white tees, about 5800 yards. The longer blue and longest gold tees will challenge the better golfers.
A very nice course.
Oaks at Ft. Walton Beach Golf Club
Played On 09/20/2014Greens in terrible shape.
Tees and fairways are pretty good, but the greens ruined the round. The greens need replacing.
The Groves Golf Course
Played On 06/25/2014Where's the potable water!!!!'
The course was ok, it was hot, I was walking, and only got to #11 before I had to quit the round ( signs of heat exhaustion) due to lack of water on the course. My advice is to bring plenty of fluids with you if you play. Come on groves, a little water on the course isn't a lot to ask! I only paid $9 bucks so value was not an issue, but lack of water is a real issue in the summer months. Walking the course is one of the few types of exercise I can do so water is very important. Consider yourself warned. The guys at the maintence shed by #11 were really nice when I stumbled in there and ask for water. Thank goodness they had a water fountain they let me use. Thanks guys, it enabled me to walk back to my car without passing out.
Pinebrook Ironwood Golf Course
Played On 06/22/2014Nice little course
Par 61. ( 30-31). Played in 3 hours. Enough water to make you hit it straight. A fair test of golf, good greens and great to sharpen up your short game. I will take my golf newbie wife next time.
