Hidden Valley Golf Club
Played On 04/17/2019Great Value Golf
Great day of golf for a great price. Challenging course layout, with lot's of elevation changes. Greens have a lot of action, but were fairly slow (early season, so not too surprising). Not fancy grass, but in good condition, well maintained, and typical course maintenance was ongoing while we were there.

Had a very enjoyable time at Wilderness Ridge after scoring a great price with GolfNow on their Hot Deals. Always worth playing a couple times a season. Course is in good shape for early in the season. Rough's will eat you up, not that long, but really grabs your club. You're rewarded staying in the fairways! Will be back again!
Red Feather/Blackbird at Indian Creek Golf Course
Played On 07/10/2014One of the best courses in Nebraska!!!
Indian Creek is by far one of my favorite courses to play! The course is immaculately taken care of to the last detail, and never disappoints!
Indian Creek does a fantastic job keeping the pace of play in time, does not overbook, and has marshals keeping everything running smoothly! Each cart has GPS in it, and is extremely accurate to precise pin positions which change regularly.
I got a steal on the price for this round, but was happy to pay full price on 4 days earlier to play all 36 of Indian Creek's holes.
I will definitely be back, multiple times per year, as I have the last few years.
Iron Horse Golf Club
Played On 05/31/2014Fantastic Course - Challenging, and great scenary
Played Iron Horse for the second time ever and will definitely be back a few more times this year!
Played Saturday afternoon (4:50pm tee time) and had the whole course to ourselves! Fairways and overall all course conditions were really good. Greens were a little more dinged up than I really would have wanted (more divots needing taken than I really expected) but overall didn't take away from my overall experience. Awesome views, and real fun elevation changes.
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and their weekend afternoon greens fees ($45/18) was well worth the money!
NuMark Golf Course - Red
Played On 05/31/2014General Review - I play Hi-Mark at least every other week if not more...
Hi-Mark is one of my most frequented courses in Lincoln, NE. Consistently have good rates and the course is kept in good condition throughout the year. Currently has 36 holes, and are working on a 4th 9 I believe scheduled to open 2016? White and Blue are the best 9's currently, Red has been re-worked in the last couple years and is getting back into good condition again. Greens are kept in good shape, and while are not all extremely challenging, they still make you work. Overall great course, and I think the best value in Lincoln.
Wellington Greens Golf Course
Played On 05/26/2014Challenging Private Par 3
Fortunate to have a friend who is a member which allows me to go out with him at least once a week. Is a 9 hole Par 3 course, which we usually play through twice in around 3 hours or less. Located within a 55+ housing community and the majority of members are 55+ (at least...lol) and rarely do we encounter any other golfers. Longest hole I believe is 135 yards, and most are around 110 yards. Despite the short yardages, the course is fairly challenging and is great for working on your short game. Playing this course consistently has probably been one of the biggest reasons for recent improvement in my game. Requires precise shots, and steady putting. Greens are for the most part immaculate and members are very good about taking care of divots and maintaining the course.
Had my very first hole in one on this course last year, so this course will always have a special place in my heart! Lol, memberships run $250/annually and are worth it if you don't know a member! If you know a member it's $5 to play with them.
Hidden Valley Golf Club
Played On 05/25/2014Challenging and good value
I play Hidden Valley at least once every other week if not more. Hidden Valley is consistently good for the what they charge to come out. Not the fanciest course, grasses, design, etc., but arguably some of the most challenging greens in town. Greens have a lot of shape to them, and are all relatively small, requiring precise approach shots. Rough tends to be thick, leading to losing balls from time to time when your ball finds the rough. Lots of elevation change, very long course if walked. Best played on weekday afternoons/evenings. Tends to get extremely stacked up on weekend afternoons especially and due to the value, you tend to encounter slower/less avid golfers who often slow down pace of play on weekends. Overall, would definitely recommend and will continue to find my way out there on a bi-weekly basis at least!
