The pace of play was very slow and to top it off while we diligently kept pace with the groups in front, the group behind consistently were hitting their shots before we cleared with no apologies.

The one "fault" I had with our round of golf, was that the group immediately before us consisted of 5 players and as a 5 player group they played in a fashion and at a pace of play that was discourteous to those of us behind. I have played behind five-somes before who were well cognizant of their pace of play. They played ready golf, and their overall pace of play was on a par with a typical foursome. This group showed none of that courtesy.

A good course for beginners as it is open and for the most part very forgiving of errant shots.

No sand bunkers to speak of and no shots over water albeit water on the sides of few of the holes.

Most frustrating part of the game was the pace of play. We were behind a father with a young son who the father was teaching. By the third hole the group in front of the father & son were a good one and half holes in front. The father saw us waiting on each of our shots whether on the tee box or approach to the green. He never though had the courtesy to waive us through. Golf etiquette is as important to teach as is the golf swing.

The course was in really good condition. The greens were deceptively fast but rolled true.

While it appears open, the grass on either side of the fairways is ready to eat the finish off one of your irons if you miss the fairway.

The front nine played faster than average but for some reason when we made the turn we ended up waiting behind two groups to tee off on 10, 11 and 12. After 12 it started to open up again.

Will definitely play it again.
