Hampton Golf Club
Played On 10/08/2017Good Sunday afternoon 9, great Oct weather
Course is in decent shape. Round had minimal waiting for groups ahead. The greens had not been cut and had some debris on them, which made putting an adventure.

Heather Hills is a beautiful course. It should be a good challenge for all handicaps. I've played here many times. This course is always in immaculate condition, is visually stimulating and a very fun course to play. There are lots of rolling hills, elevated tees, elevated greens, but very playable. The greens are very challenging, but fair, and always in great shape. Most evenings you will interact with the local wildlife on some holes. Well worth getting your car dirty to get here. Highly recommended.

We played the front nine in 1 hr 45 min, but when we got to the back, we hit a roadblock. There was a foursome of older people with a handicapped guy that was slowing things down. Later, they claimed it was the group in front of them slowing things down, but not so true. We complained to the ranger, and after playing the 1st 3 holes in 1 hr, they let us pass. But not without harassing and taunting us. In fact the handicapped ahole hit his drive right between me and my buddy, coming within 10 yards of my friend without yelling fore. This guy was a real peach, and really shouldn't be allowed on a golf course. Kinda ruined an otherwise good outing at a nice course.
