The course was in good shape the greens were fast. The day was perfect!!!

The staff was great, the course was good,. We had an early start and finish the round in 3 hrs 20 min.

I wish I knew they allow walking... the course layout is perfect for walking - no major distance from putting green other next tee box. Fairways were very good, putting greens are fast. Next homie I will be a walker.

A few things... First - Breakfast - Biscuits and gravy are GREAT!!.. The staff is always helpful and friendly. This time of year the course is in transition from winter to spring. in all the fairways are groomed with a very few patches of brown. The putting greens are almost perfect and good for putting. In all it wasn't crowded... pace was good and nobody pushing your game. I use this course for when I need a quick 4 hr round of golf

This is not a good course to walk - the distance between green and tee box in a number of holes is a real hike. Also the signage to get from one hole to the next is interesting as you journey through the housing areas.

Wigwam has a course that fits everyone. We [played the Gold course which is challenging for the bogie to 2x bogie golfer. The holes are long and target golf is the point. The second cut adds a difficulty which means clubbing up one club. New name might be confusing - gold is still gold; red is now heritage (for the average player); and blue is now patriot (for the double digit handicap) . Enjoy your round

This course is great for walkers. Greens to Tee box are short walks.

Like most courses the first week of coming out of overseeing hampers play a bit. I do think in about another week when the new grass get cut a little closer the course would be prime.

Typical Troon - A MUST on any golfer's list. This course is best done riding. The distances between the putting greens and next tee box is rather long on a number of holes. Also the elevation changes would be tough on a walker - I walk every chance but opted to ride this course.

This place is kind of a hidden gem...try hitting from the blues....

Getting an early morning start was quite nice. The staff was very nice. Finishing the 18th hole we were able to see the 1st tee... Packed.... bottom line go off wary and you set your pace with no on pushing...

The fairways were in good shape. The greens where FAST.. Took a number of holes to get used to the speed. The course lay-out requires a goo accuracy on most of the holes. Going off the fairway is challenging to find the errant ball. Brings plenty of balls if your handicap is greater than 10.

Plays the Falls and Palms. The greens were fast but he fairways were good. The course is beginning to show the over-seeding prep work (reduction in watering). Over-all I will be back later this year. The only thing I might mention is walking the course would be an excellent work-out. There are a number of holes its about 2-300 yds green to next tee box.

The heat on AZ took its toll on parts of the course, however that was minor. Overall the fairways were very good to hit off and the greens sped up as they dried from the prior night's monsoon. Yes it rained hard the night before. The pace of play was good (no one in front of us). Play it again? ABSOLUTELY!!!

The staff is very cordial, tee times were on schedule. The course was coming off over-seeding and was in really good shape considering that. I will definitely will be back in a few months to try again when the grass ages. The putting greens with the fresh growth were a bit slow and bumpy, but not as bad a aeration. Watch out when hitting into the second growth (be sure to have plenty of balls).
