Seminole Lake Country Club
Played On 05/01/2018Excellent conditions but no tee time management
As we’ve experienced before the best greens in the area and fairways well kept. They should have a starter at all times and prefarably a marshall to enforce slow flights letting others play through as soon is there is one hole completely open before them. As I’ve learned playing golf, you should not stay just before the fligt behind you but just behind the flight in front of you.
Many player seem to forget this simple rule.
Seminole Lake Country Club
Played On 12/17/2014Slow play
Course in good condition, greens excellent. Local members play too slow. Avoid being scheduled behind group of senior members.
Bardmoor Golf & Tennis Club
Played On 03/12/2014Good round at Bardmoor
Despite the weather forecast my wife and I booked a round at Bardmoor. In the morning it was still raining cats and dogs but as by miracle the sun came out just after we teed off on hole 1. The course was soaked but playable and furthermore in excellent conditions, encouraging us and all other players to respect the cart path only rule. Since Floridians (we are from rainy Belgium) only come out for golf when sunshine is in the forecast, we almost had the course for ourselves, which added up to the fun.
East Bay Golf Club
Played On 12/18/2012Course in fair condition but slow play
Like most lower priced courses, East Bay is visited by players with moderate to low golfing skills who may end up with 10 strokes or more. Encouraging Stableford play might speed up the game.
