The Country Club at Soboba Springs
Played On 02/06/2019Great Course
Beautiful weather but the greens were perfect and fast. Some spots in the fairway were muddy but fairly well kept considering the rain a day before.
Compass Pointe Golf Club - North/East Course
Played On 03/15/2015Great considering the weather
Great considering the weather. Wind above 20 mph. The ground was wet due to melting snow. First playable day of the year due to snow. However, the greens were fast and staff were kind and friendly.
Choptank River Golf & Events
Played On 02/08/2015Felt like a course in Ocean City, MD
Outstanding view of the trees and the river, Choptank.
It took almost two hours to get there. We got there about 20 minutes late but the friendly staff didn't raise a question and let us play. Will play there again!!!
Beside the bird droppings that were everywhere, it was a good place to spend hours playing 18 holes of golf. The Canadian goose will fly away next month and we are going to try again then.
Heritage Shores Golf
Played On 02/02/2014This course was long
One of the few courses that was open due to recent snow. Considering the winter season, the course was in very good condition. About 80 percent of the fairways were wet so the ball stopped as it landed making the course seem so long. The staffs were very kind and helpful. Would love to play there again.
Maryland National Golf Club
Played On 10/10/2013Outstanding course
Excellent course in fine shape. Rolling elevation and a good mix of obstructions and open holes. The greens were still on recovery from aeration thus challenging to read. The best of the five courses played last five days, according to our visiting friends from Denver, CO.
WestWinds Golf Club
Played On 9/05/2013Outstanding course for the price. I will play there again.
It was a great day in September with below 80 degree weather. My wife and I got $11 (normally $30) greens fee from Golfnow.com with the cart. Fairways were in good shape and greens were well matured except the unrepaired fresh divots left by the groups ahead. Tee boxes were well spaced with little damage. The 8th hole, only hole with water hazard, has a hugh tree in the middle of the fairway and don’t space to aim. Overall it was a great day of golf and West Winds Golf Course offers a chance to be out there with no damage to your wallet.
Cross Creek Golf Club
Played On 2/27/2013The worst shape I've ever seen.
# 14 course was closed for reconstruction. The 10 out of 18 greens were in terrible shape. They shouldn't be open to play when the course isn't ready to play.
Great to hear and hope to see you back on the links again soon. Mike
