Falcon Lakes Golf Course
Played On 05/17/2017OUTSTANDING!!!
First, I'm a 15 handicap, playing from the tips with a wind that started at 10-15 mph and went to 25-40 mph on the back nine. What could go wrong here? Exactly, scorecard was atrocious. This course is a must play, WONDERFUL staff, great layout of pro shop and grille which beamed "class". Course was in perfect condition, especially the greens. What made the greens great was that people who played before me actually repaired their ball marks. Driving range and chipping areas were set up like they are suppose to be: flat and manicured tee boxes and multiple yardage makers on a flat terrain. Can't wait to go back
The Oaks at Margaritaville Lake Resort
Played On 05/06/2017A Must Play Course
They had 13 inches of rain in the previous 2 weeks but the course held up well. Greens were superb outside of inconsiderate players who don't repair ball marks. It's a lake course so your tee ball is key. Not only is accuracy a must, but when the course dries out, your problem will be keeping driver in the bag as the left to right slope of the fairways will get you in trouble and cost you strokes. Staff was outstanding and can't wait to play it again as I will think a little different on some shots. I didn't score very welll but those days will happen and never the course fault. A very good test of golf
The Deuce at the National Golf Club of Kansas City
Played On 05/02/2017Excellent Course
Not a long course, but accuracy on many driving holes is a must. Plays a lot like courses at The Lake Of The Ozarks. Staff was very friendly in the pro shop and bar/grille. Wil definelty play this tract again
Tiffany Greens Golf Club
Played On 04/20/2017Excellent Course To Play
One of my favorite courses. Though not heavily tree lined, there always is a breeze or can be windy which will make the course a little tougher, and I like that!! Staff is always friendly, I play as a single a lot and the people I meet are fun to play with. Greens are in great shape even though some players should pay more attention to repairing there mark. Challenging course but one most levels can play effectively.
Lodge of Four Seasons - Cove Course
Played On 04/19/2017Great Golf Course
It's a lake course, so you will have to think about tee shot on most holes. Though not long from the tips, accuracy off the box is critical but once you get it in the fairway, the course can be beaten based on your handicap. The pro and staff are very friendly and even helped us play a 6 some for 9 with wives putting (we played a 2 ball scramble to move along quickly). This is a must course to play while in the area and the rates are great if aren't looking for "prime" tee times. By the way, I rated the course extremely challenging because I have to be better with my tee ball:)

Played On 04/16/2017Definetly Worth Playing
Greens had been aerated and we had much rain, but that is no fault of the course but the reason for 4 stars and not 5. This is a course that is beatable and challenging. Some holes are straight with not much thought, others you need to think your way to the green. Staff was great, let us play 36 for a bit of discount. Will definitely go back and play soon.
Lodge of Four Seasons - Ridge Course

Like any lake course, your tee shot is critical. If you are playing the course for the first time, ask the staff about a couple of shots that might be "blind" and they will give you the "heads up". Love the elevations of lake courses so you have to think about your club selection. Certainly not your local "muni" course so bring your game and your thinking hat, but that's what makes this course fun. This is a course I love to play, especially if I am struggling a bit. If you play well, the course is beatable. Good luck
Thank you so much for playing The Oaks and for fixing your ball marks! Yes, that is a problem and we really appreciate you doing your part. That was quite some rain we had, and I'm sure you noticed it left our grounds crew with plenty of work, but I can assure you those April showers brought some serious May flowers. We considered putting GPS units on the carts, but with all the free apps out there for smart phones, we decided to add yardage features on our scorecards instead. We'd love to have you back again this summer when the course really blossoms. For a special rate, e-mail me at Spencerwilson@pga.com, mention this review, and I'll a send you a promo code.
