The Florida Club
Played On 03/19/2023Fantastic golf experience
Played The Florida Club for the first time with a friend. We were able to play a full 18 even with a 3:33 tee time on a Sunday. Course conditions are absolutely amazing for the time of year and cost to play. Greens were fast, smooth, and full of interesting undulations. Collars and approaches were firm and tight, and even looked to have been edged consistently to maintain their perimeters. Course surrounds are beautiful and even on the occasion where homes are visible, the landscape along with the depth of the lots keeps the course feeling forgiving off the tee. Can’t say I have been this impressed by a course in years and can’t wait to come back. Huge thanks to the friendly staff and hard working people making this one of my new favorite courses
Park Ridge Golf Course

Park Ridge Golf Course
Played On 03/12/2022Tremendous park ridge
First time playing park ridge, bad weather cleared out the course and we finished in 3 hours. Course layout is incredible for south Florida. One of the only courses I’ve played with significant elevation changes. Reminds you more of a links course with double fairways on a couple holes and some blind tee shot and approaches to the green. Conditions were great for the time of year and considering the rain the greens were quick. Can’t wait to come back to play
The Yards
Played On 02/17/2022Great greens, not a fan of the tee box or driving range mats
First time playing the yards. The course has an odd design and some of the holes feel crammed together. Turf is in great condition in all playable areas, might have been slightly overwatered, but was consistent around the loop. Greens were tremendous, very quick and some well placed undulations. I would like it if they kept every par 3’s and 4’s but overall it was a fun little course. I will be interested to see if they can maintain its current level in the future, but with all the great courses nearby I’m sure they will get consistent traffic from people looking for fun and a different style of play.
Hawk's Landing Golf Club
Played On 02/06/2022Disappointing stuff from Hawk’s Landing
Was very excited to play hawk’s landing; turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments in Orlando.
Cash is useless at this locality, pro shop, beverage cart girls, snack bar all require you pay with a card.
Additionally we found out that the drastically overpriced round is marked up an extra $50, as locals we had this tourist fee waived but one of our threesome was unable to get his round cost reduced as he had already paid and a long line had formed. We also watched on as the pro shop turned away one tourist who wanted to join his friends because the pro shop said they were too busy.
Meanwhile we ended up behind a group who waited for every green to clear, even on 400+yd par 4’s and par 5’s. It’s a shame the director of golf was collecting range ball buckets instead of ensuring a decent pace of play.
Course layout is odd overall, bunkers have too little sand pushed up on the faces to be playable with the concrete lining; no sense renovating the bunkers if you can’t afford to adequately fill them with sand (2” on the face, not a light dusting’.
Hole 18 the signature par 3 island has arguably the worst contoured green I have ever played on, not sure what the architect or crew who performed the renovation were thinking.
Eagle Creek Golf Club
Played On 01/25/2022Outstanding conditions
Eagle creek’s playing conditions are some of the best in the Orlando area, I frequently stop in for a round and have never been disappointed. Greens are in good shape, tee boxes are smooth and fairways provide decent roll out. Cart staff is also courteous and helpful unlike the majority of other local courses. Can’t wait until my next tee time at eagle creek.
Grande Vista Golf Club

Played On 01/21/2022Deltona Club
Played On 01/17/2022Quick 9
The layout and conditions at the deltona club are a nice change of pace from other Orlando area courses. Tee boxes greens and approaches were all in good shape.
Victoria Hills Golf Club
Played On 01/12/2022Vic hills
A great course with elevation changes and good layout, conditions are not what they were last year but for the price it’s a good place to play
Thank you for taking the time to review us. Your feedback is valuable, and we look forward to delivering you 5 star service soon. Victoria Hills Golf Club thanks you!
Panther Lake at Orange County National
Played On 01/07/2022Same great ocn; not the same great conditions
Conditions seemed to be a little off compared to this time last year
Thank you for taking the time to review Orange County National! We hope to see you again soon so we can earn the chance to get 5 stars!
Shingle Creek Golf Club
Played On 12/27/2021Great course
Tee boxes were showing some serious wear and tear but overall shingle is always in great shape
Black Bear Golf Club
Played On 07/10/2021Great conditions and pace of play for a weekend morning
Black bear is consistently a great place to play. Conditions are good and pace of play never slowed down. Staff is always friendly
Waldorf Astoria Golf Club
Played On 05/18/2021Great course
Played last week, conditions were good despite the hot, dry weather. Enjoyed the course layout. Greens were fair, the bunkers looked to have playable sand in them, and tee boxes were level. Very few weak spots around the place. Customer service was great.
Pace of play was awful but that was the fault of the people I was paired with and a great reason not to take a hotdeal on a last minute weekday afternoon round. Looking forward to coming back with a few friends soon.
Reunion Resort - Palmer Course
Played On 05/10/2021Fun course
The Palmer course was a good time. It was in fair condition and the course layout is challenging but fun. Greens rolled well and green side bunkers were easy to play from. Look forward to my next visit.
Amazing conditions at Raptor Bay
Played my first round at raptor today and had the best golfing experience of my life to date. Conditions were truly 5 star. Greens rolled very well, fairways were in great shape with no thin spots or inconsistencies, and tees were flat with good turf to hit from. The course layout is one of my favorites among all courses I’ve played and my favorite Raymond Floyd design. Wide fairways lend themselves to a links golf style of play and narrow openings from the tee box on other holes make you pick your shot or pay the price. The crowned greens and sloped approaches also make you dial things in with your irons. The backdrop is tremendous, maybe 3-4 houses or buildings are visible around the entire course and the towers help line up shots on a few long par 5’s. The surrounding landscape provides great contrast to the perfectly manicured golf course and wildlife and birds were abound.
I will be telling everyone I can about what a great course Raptor Bay is and can’t wait to come back for the great golf and atmosphere. Thank you to the maintenance team and management whose work truly makes this a 5 star course
Ahamel12, thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Raptor Bay Golf Club.
North Shore Golf Course
Played On 03/31/2021Quality conditions, great round
This was my first time playing north shore in many years and it was phenomenal. I enjoyed the links style front 9 and the back 9 is great fun if you can place your shots. Conditions were as enjoyable as any course I’ve played in the past year including many that charge double but unlike those resort course our round was done at 4 hours instead of 6. Tees were flat, smooth and the turf was thick. Fairways had few if any thin areas and were firm giving drives extra rollout which helps on the par 5’s. Greens were in good shape as well, they were smooth and soft enough to hold shots and speed was consistent across all holes plus the slight undulations and good speed makes thine on the green a lot of fun. Also of note was the conditions of the bunkers; they had good edges and a playable amount of sand in each and the greenside bunkers I found myself in made for great outs. Could not ask for more. Happy to have found a great course with a great staff maintaining the place, can’t wait to come back
Disney's Magnolia Golf Course
Played On 03/24/2021Goat ranch. Poor conditions, poorly managed
I will not waste money at a Disney course again. Had a poor experience at The Palm course 3/14/21.
Today another 5+ hour round. Greenside bunkers without sand but filled with hard packed mud. Most disappointing was the condition of the greens. Large areas on each green are unplayable; no amount of ‘vibrancy’ or renewed growth can overshadow the problems their greens face. Additionally if you tempt fate and play magnolia, watch your step as there are thousands of unaddressed potholes, everywhere you look, from golf course pests damaging the turf. Another reminder that consistent focus and effort over a period of time along with proper personnel management is what separates good golf from this AP golf management mess.
If members of management cared about guest experience, played the game of golf, or knew what good golf conditions looked like they would not blame a host of unrelated issues on slowed turf growth from a cold winter.
Disney visitors should head to shingle creek, the Reunion courses, grande vista or even a local municipal course if they want a better value and experience from their round.
Thank you for your feedback on your recent round at Walt Disney World® Golf. We apologize for the fact that your were displeased with the course conditions that you experienced.
We hope that you will reconsider playing our wonderful courses again in time to come, so we can exceed your expectations upon your next visit to Orlando.
We have reinvested extensively into the facilities annually. Unfortunately, the climate of recent has not been conducive to healthy turf growth, but we expect that as the weather warms up again, that the vibrancy of the turf will again return. We do have a couple of greens that have suffered extensively, but the remainder of the golf course is steadily improving.

Disney's Palm Golf Course
Played On 03/14/2021Disney disappointment
As a frequent player of Disney courses I have come to expect a great atmosphere and solid conditions. Unfortunately today at the palm course we got neither. The best part of the day was the breakfast bacon egg and cheese croissant from chip n dales. As for course condition I’m not sure what is going on at the palm. I recently played LBV and was thrilled with the rough, fairways, and greens. The palm was simply in poor shape for our round. It looked like irrigation had been running for hours as some bunkers were filled with water and tee boxes were absolutely soaked and we have not had recent rainfall. Additionally turf around greens was very thin and there were many bare patches of dirt. You should get what you pay for when playing resort courses and the palm is not worth it. I feel bad for the tourists who paid substantially more than I did at a resident rate, and had to play through the worst course conditions I have seen at Disney. It’s also never acceptable for a ranger to yell at a group to ‘close the gap’ while they are standing 160 yds out waiting on the group to clear the green. Bonus points for the cart girl who was absolutely wonderful.

The cold weather experienced in January and February has been a detriment to our facilities with the lack of overseed that we apply to our golf courses annually. We are growing through it, and expect that by the end of March that the course will be greatly improved.

Shingle Creek Golf Club
Played On 03/05/2021Always a good round at shingle
Shingle seems to consistently be one of the best courses in the Orlando area, I try to play it once or twice a month. Greens are in great condition and the course layout is entertaining with some forced carries and undulation in the greens. Looking forward to my next round at shingle
Thank you for the 5-star rating and review, Ahamel12!
