A group of four two weeks in a row continue to make a twosome play behind them There is no way a foursome is going to keep pace to a twosome. Really poor etiquette. No marshal addressing the issue so all players can enjoy their round. Expense round of golf to stand a wait on every shot.

Shawneeki course conditions are always top notch. All credit goes to the Turf Department. Price for golf is high for receiving no other services such as a small bucket of balls at no charge for driving range. Club house appears tired and outdated. Washrooms need updated.

This course is excellent. The layout of the course is not standard which makes playing a round an excellent experience. The greens are a real challenge as they are lightning fast! The entire experience makes for a really enjoyable round of golf. If you have not had the Shawneeki experience, I would strongly recommend you plan a round.

Silver Lakes has it all......beautiful scenery, challenging holes and greens, multiple tee boxes, excellent staff and excellent off-course amenities. The only reason for one four rating for golf conditions is the greens were a little slow compared to their usual quick speed. This is to be expected as snow is due to hit next week and I am sure the Greens Department wants to leave the greens a little long to deal with the poor weather headed our way. Thank you Silver Lakes for an excellent time!!

This was the first time playing this course. The course has an excellent layout. The greens were crazy. Running 12 on the stimp meter? No matter how well your approach shot was, you had no chance to hold the greens. Definitely need to dial back the difficulty of the greens to truly enjoy the round.

Silver Lakes Golf Course has it all!! Some challenging holes and greens, greens that run true, beautiful scenery, and excellent staff. The only reason the course conditions received a four rating is the course was very wet from heavy rains and being low land, fairway shots were extremely challenging with very wet lies. One of my favourite courses to play!!

We played Middle and Lakeland. Lakeland has a number of very challenging holes, more so if you are playing the course for the first time. There are some blind shots and some definite target golf required. Starter Carol really makes the experience pleasant as you head to the first tee. Middle definitely has some challenges with elevated greens and the need to hit an excellent drive and second shot to secure your par. Greens roll true and are fun to putt on.

If you do not like putting, do not plan a round at Cherry Downs. Your putting will be challenged in every way imaginable.

Course is challenging and in good condition. Greens were a little less than ideal due to a significant number of shoe marks and ball marks.
