Good course, not so good staff

The course played true and had some challenging holes. The greens and fairways were in good shape especially for the winter time. My only complaint is the guy handling the carts. When we went to get our cart and strap our bags in, the guy told me “I just cleaned that cart, it may be wet. Grab a towel and dry it off. When your done, don’t leave any trash.” Most courses would dry the cart off for you and offer to take your bags. He just didn’t seem too willing to do much other than wash the carts with the hose.

Not a great course

The course was in pretty rough shape. The greens were not up to par and the fairways were muddy. Even without the rain, the course did not look like it would be in good shape. There was is a cart path only rule on the whole entire course right now and before you even get to the first hole, they tell you “if we find you in the grass one time, we’re pulling the key.” Also the ranger came around yelling at us for pace of play because the group behind us was waiting on the tee box even though that group skipped the people ahead of them and drove right to the tee box. We weren’t holding anyone up, they were cutting ahead and the ranger didn’t even let us explain that to him. Overall, it was not a great round due to the conditions.

Course was in rough shape

Played 18 today with my friend. We have been playing nice 4-5 star courses lately and noticed a difference in quality right away. Some of the fairways were dead and the greens needed work. The course just seemed outdated and as if it hadn’t had maintenance done in a while. The pace of play was good although 90% of the golfers we seen were walking.

Plays well with some nice greens

This course had a pretty nice layout with a few tough water shots. The fairways were pretty well and the greens were good. Some greens were huge, some were pretty thin. The pace of play was the only downfall as we consistently had to wait at the tee box for the groups ahead of us. Overall, it took long, but was a nice course.
