I have played this course every winter for the last 4 years. When we played last year they told us that a new owner took over and things will get better, and it did. Greens have grass on them and fairways are green and growing.
Traps still need attention and need rakes.
Overall a great course getting better.

Staff very friendly. Greens were great and somewhat fast. I guess they do not mow on Sunday. Thank goodness. Played White tees 6100 yards. A bit long for me but very fair.
Nice restaurant and practice area. A great municipal golf course. I will return.

Sandridge is always in great shape.
Greens were a little slower than normal but held great.

Played here years ago and things look the same. A few of the greens were rough but all others very nice. Great pass of play 3:50 and very nice clubhouse and staff.

I first played this course inn1975 with my fathers golf group from Maine. Enjoyed lit then and did not disappoint yesterday. Tees and greens in great shape. Great price and pace of play. Will come back o. Next visit to Mrytle.

Greens good but slow. Fairways and tees are a little rough but very playable. Staff was great and very fast pace for a Sunday at 10. 3:00 hr round. Perfect.

Easy to find. Staff was great. Pace of play 4:10 which is great. A lot of water but very fair. 2 big gators for our viewing pleasure. 19’th hole very friendly and comfortable. Will be back.

Construction in the parking lot is a good sign the new owners will start putting money in this place. I was told the restaurant will reopen soon. Great course layout and years of neglect. Hopefully next year when I come back the grass will be green and the waterfalls working.

Course has been slowly deteriorating to where it is now.
Most greens are passable but have extensive damage.
This course needs money to start up their watering which I feel is 90% of the problem. Dry, dead grass everywhere.
Other than that the course has great bones.
I will come back next year to see if some one put some money into it or it will be under construction for 500 new homes.

Not a great place to have your worst round in fact 2 other team mates had their worst round. 32 balls lost.
Other than that the course is making its way back. Great greens and challenging layout. Extremely friendly staff and best value in the area.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Typical older golf course.
Many areas need attention but still fun to play. No ranger…5.5 hour round. Still fun day.

Played at noon. No one ahead of us for 3 holes then we caught up. Ended up 4 hrs 10 minutes. Not bad. Great layout and plenty of hazards. Many long holes. Greens mostly good but a few bad spots. They are working on the course which is a good thing. They had a cart girl and great value for food and beer. For $40 this is a very good course to play.
Will play again.

We knew it was going to be interesting when we went around back to the cart area after paying and there was loud opera music coming from the starters booth. Over 20 golfers standing around trying to get carts and range balls. In the middle of everything 2 older gentleman trying to run things. Not enough carts, and no balls for the range that everyone paid for in the club house. We were lucky we had played the course a week before and knew the routine. We teed off on time and pace was great for a Saturday afternoon. No water on course, signage lacking in places, there are rest rooms on the course but they do not have anybody to clean them. We liked the course and like most busy Florida courses they have a few rough spots. Not a bad value for the money but owners just have to pay more to attract workers.

Good pace of play. 4 hours 10. Greens very nice. We feel it was overpriced by $40 just because they have some green fairways and rough. Ancient gas carts.
Need key from cart to use bathroom but carts are so old you can’t easily take out key and put them back in the ignition. At least 5 minutes each time. Rangers said he is called out 2-3 times a day to help get keys back in cart to get them running again. Staff was helpful and very friendly.
Can’t say I would come back for $138 per person.

Very friendly starter. Course in great shape. Cart girl was excellent. Slow round but great Sunday afternoon.

Fun course. Played white tees very short. Half of the greens you had to take preferred lies to avoid dead areas.
Great pace of play. Had a hole in 1 so I guess it was a good day.
