Nice little course hidden in the Gurnee area. Great layout, well bunkered with water in play on seceral holes. Greens ran fast and true. Pro shop guys were outstanding.
Issue with biting flies near the water hazards, bring insect repellant. Other than that, no complaints.
Plays long enough from the tips, and clever elevation changes around greens make accurate irons a must you really should try this course.
Prairie Landing

I used to love Prairie Landing, but after last Saturday's round, I can no longer reccommed it.
It started at the bag drop-there was always someone there to greet/transfer clubs downstairs. I took care of it myself. When I got fown there. I saw 3 employees huddled together talking in the garage. I walked up a flight of stairs as they watched, only to find the door locked. "If u want to use those stairs, u need to get married..again" said the smarmy employee.
51/2 hour round(there was an outing-no one told us about) and a subtly bait n switch pricing on website. Couple that with peeling plaster, non working water fountains and a golf cart that died on hole15-pretty poor showing by this once remarkable course.
Lots of places to spend golf $-why go to a place w/clueless employees, non functioning equipment and almost 6 hour rounds
