Arizona Grand Resort
Played On 03/06/2019Enojoyable day
Played two rounds this day. Pace of play is very good. First tee is set amongst the central part of the resort, very eye pleasing. Fairways are well maintained. Back nine is classic desert golf. Lunch between rounds at the restaurant near the first tee is excellent (great menu and service). Green fees are reasonable for the experience. Electric carts in good shape. Recommend Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s as these are the least busy days.
Innisfil Creek Golf Course
Played On 05/24/2018Huukan Golf Club
Played On 11/03/2017Very poor value
We played several other courses previously on our trip, and found them to be very good tracks. Huukan was the most expensive of all we played, and by far the worst. The starter was very good though. The fairways had many bare spots. Even when on the “fairway” we were often playing off of essentially hard mud. The course had a very tired, unmaintained feel to it. No beverage cart. My advice is don’t waste your money.
Silver Brooke Golf Club
Played On 09/15/2017Worth a try
The greens were fairly bumpy due to aeration (can't fault the course for that), but otherwise look to be in good shape. We walked the course but found a very long walk between some of the holes. Recommend taking a cart. I like to play tees around 5,900 yards, but the choices were either much shorter or much longer. You need to hit a straight ball on this course otherwise will lose many. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Windermere Golf & Country Club
Played On 08/31/2017Like stepping back in time
This course is what I imagine golfing 50 years ago was like, but in a good way. Well maintained, fairly narrow. Very picturesque. Greens are rolling and challenging.
Heritage Hills Golf Club
Played On 08/05/2016Always good fun at Heritage Hills
Heritage Hills is tucked away just outside of Barrie. I find that it is little known even to the golfers in Barrie. Some good marketing would certainly help. There are few on site amenities (the clubhouse is obviously temporary), and there are essentially no apres golf opportunities. However, the golf is a very good value, and the course is interesting and can be challenging. The first holes are through a forested area, followed by what is essentially links type golf. You will need to place your shots, and hit over creek areas on a few holes. This isn't a high end country club experience, but will be enjoyable for almost every skill level. Great value for the money.
Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Links Course
Played On 01/30/2016Old style
Had an old style feeling. But we'll run and fun to play. Good condition all around.
Thank you for the 4-Star review, we appreciate the great feedback regarding the value of our course. Thanks for coming out and we hope to see you again soon.
