Played On 02/27/2024A Good Course to work on your game
First thing is you know what you are paying for. Not a top course in the area but a course you can enjoy working on your game.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Good to see maintenance is seeding all tee boxes and removing dead trees and brush. Another plus was new blacktop on cart paths where needed.
I know that they can’t do much about all the geese since course is surround by preserve areas.

John Parson & his team always working hard to keep this course a golden jewel in Illinois… This course and with its staff deserve a Western Amateur Opening.
Ravisloe Country Club

Have to be careful driving to clubhouse because you drive thru the 10th hole fairway…
Staff was great & so are golf carts with gps.
For the cost of a round I expected much better layout and condition of the course. Old ball cleaners and most didn’t have soap/water and towels where missing or half torn. Some bunkers had little sand.
Sadly it’s a 1 & done experience to golf at Ravisloe

Course & amenities much better but still need work in some bunkers and unplayable areas.
Staff was excellent but wish they didn’t change food menu.

Klein Creek was not a course I would look to play. It was in poor condition on all 18 holes plus pro shop & restaurant etc was in need of serious updating.
After playing this Friday, a total 180 and I’ll be looking to play Klein Creek again. Cheers to new owner and all his staff and the General Manager getting the course looking good. Keep up the improvements .

Bent Tree Country Club
Played On 03/17/2022Need to renovate net driving range area and clean up area around it. Course looked run down but greens were in good shape
Big Run Golf Club
Played On 11/23/2022Big Run gives a golfer a chance to hit every club in your bag.
Risk Reward shots get better results in Nov with no leaves but in July when I’ve played it you will rethink that approach..
surprisgly the fairways & greens where in good condition for Nov.

Eaglewood Resort & Spa

Enjoyed playing Mistwood & from North Suburbs, I usually bring a group with me.
Great course layout and staff & amenities are 5 stars.
Only negative each time I bring a group is the greens being being bumpee & need to be rolled .

Really enjoyed playing the Starboard Course.
Tee Boxes need some care and the cart paths in desperate need to re-blacktopping but course & greens were great

Bartlett Hills Golf Club

Can’t find better greens in all Chicagoland. Greens are true to any putt line. These greens are as good as some PGA courses I’ve played on. If you miss putts it is not any greens issue and I missed a few because of my pace to the cups.
