Wow...talk about a well kept and beautiful course!! Desert Pines is all of that and more. The day we played, it was so hot and the staff was so concerned for our comfort, they sent us out with a cooler of water and ice and at the turn made sure we were still ok. We had the course to ourselves, which always is a plus in my book! The fairways are very hilly but so well manicured that they didn't have a blade of grass out of place. Greens are great.

We were looking for a short course because we wanted to play but the temps were rising sharply here in Vegas. We whipped around this short course in less than 3 hours and had a great time with lots of iron play. It was in great shape and very well maintained..greens were tricky but fun.

This course was a real gem of a course and quite challenging. Lots of sand traps and desert that we were not allowed to go in to get our stray golf balls!! It was beautiful and very well manacured.

My husband and I have enjoyed this course many times over the years. It is absolutely great and I highly recommend it to both "serious" golfers and those of us who play it for the fun no matter how much trouble we get into!! (Bring extra golf balls, you may need them!!)

We had a wonderful round of golf. Pace of play ws great and only lost 2 golf balls....plenty of water and woods on this course. Hit long and straight is the name of the game.

Hey folks, This course was in great shape and although the weaher was way hot, my husband and I played it for a total of $19.00 thanks to golfnow. We qualified for a two for one and found this steal on the "hot deals". Badlands is an excellent and quite challenging golf course (bring a few extra balls) and we enjoyed playing it both for the outstanding price and for the plush fairways and awesome greens.

We play this course each year and this year it was in the best shape ever. The greens were super smooth and were just challenging enough that we couldn't give very many "gimmes" to each other! The pace was wonderful even though they were quite busy the day we went. Wonderful round of golf in less than 4 hours. Would highly recommend this course.

My husband and I play this course each year when we visit Vegas and this is the first year that I had to buy a "collared golf shirt" to play. I had a very nice top on but it did not have a collar and the young man was boldly determined that I had to have a collar. (It did give me an excuse.....) Anyway, we had a wonderful round of golf on a very old and mature course that has all the fun challenges that mature courses usually have. It has always been a favorite of ours.

We played this most beautiful course and frankly had a lousy time doing it. I recommend it only if you are calling and asking about the events that may be planned for the day. We had to contend with a very slow tournament on a particularly hot day. The beverage cart could not carry enough supplies for the tournament players and all us "regular" golfers and the marshall only showed up long enough to apologize for the slow play and his inability to move us to anything open. Other than that ruining our day, the course is beautiful, just tough enough and actually quite forgiving to the average golfer.

My husband and I had a great fun time playing this short par 3 course. We were finished in little over 2 hours. The course was in great shape and the greens were super. If you need to work on your short game, go to this gem.

This course is absolutely beautiful but unless you want to spend your entire day (>5 hours), don't go. It was so backed up on this day (we had a tee time), we started at 2:30 and finished at 7:45. Sadly we saw several groups leave without finishing behind us and in front of us. The sad thing is it all seemed to be caused by one group of four that refused to allow any groups to play through and held us all captive. We were told that "Unfortunately, the marshall went home at 2pm and there was nothing that could be done". Other than that, the course was in great shape and plays relatively hard with lots of bunkers and greens that slope severly (which probably added to the slow play).

We played this course and did have a great time but was a little disappointed in the couple ahead of us that played so very slowly and had no regard for holding everyone else up. The greens were a little rough and the fairways needed water. Good shade along the way to help golfers get through the hot weather of Vegas.

We always include this course on our Vegas golfing vacation because we know the holes and the greens here. This year we noticed that the fairways needed some attention as far as water and grooming are concerned. It was still loads of fun, even though the temp was almost 100 degrees!

This course is "off the beaten path" but oh my, is it worth the drive. It is in excellent shape. Every fairway is pristine and the putting greens are wonderful. They even have two holes with a chose of which green you want to head towards that would be best be suited to your own talent. Absolutely loved this course and would highly recommend it to any level of golfer.

We enjoyed playing this "shorter" course but felt bad to see all the dry, dead spots along the way. The putting greens were excellent though. The weather was perfect for afternoon golf in Vegas...right around 91, with a wonderful breeze.

I wrote a review of the Lakes Course at Primm and raved about how wonderful it was. It was fun and challenging and in excellent physical condition. Not so with the Desert course at Primm. It was so difficult it took the fun right out and the physical condition of the fairways, greens, and rough was terribly disappointing. It was in dire need of water and grooming.

My husband and I decided to play scrambles on this course. Together we managed to come in 3 under par! Great fun and yet some very challenging holes. They had hosted a large tournament prior to our tee time and the course had gotten quite "cluttered" but it was still a very beautiful green golf course.

My husband and I enjoyed this challenging and beautiful course on a very warm afternoon. We had the entire course to ourselves as the "locals" don't like to play in the dessert heat. Coming from Michigan, it's all good for us! What a wonderful time we had on a course that gives the modest golfer just enough "fun" holes to make the more challenging holes worth the added effort.

We enjoyed this course very much because we had no other plans for afterwards. We went out at 2pm and didn't finish until 7pm. It was stacked, so the pace of play was very slow.
It is such a beautiful course with loads of wonderful mountain views that it made the slow play a lot more tolerable.

My husband and I love this course. It is long and challenging, yet loads of fun. We golfed it in the afternoon on a very hot day and still had loads of enjoyment. We would highly recommend this course.
