Course is in great condition and the views are very good. Tees, fairways and greens are all great. A strange layout because two 18 holes courses are shared by a private club and a Loews resort about 1/2 mile away.. It is 1/2 mile cart ride from check in to the range and 1st tee for the Mountain course. The pace of play was terrible on the first nine, taking 2.5 hours. A group ahead dropped out, presumably because of slow play, and we still waited behind the group ahead of them!

Tees and fairways are excellent condition. Greens are good. Greens are fast and hard. They will hold a well hit iron. Greens have lots of undulations. Carts and cart paths are excellent condition. Course is a classic desert layout with quite a few forced carries over desert terrain. These can be troublesome for high handicappers or women and seniors who do not carry the ball very far. I'd say that a carry of 130 yards is recommended to enjoy this course. The hole variation is great with long and short par 4s, doglegs left and right, etc.
