We hit excellent traffic and arrived at course before our tee time. Starter said he would announce our tee start which was strange since there were no other golfers anyplace. He required us to sit in the cart area on extremely hot day for 25 minutes before allowing us to proceed to the tee area. There were 2 cars in the parking lot when we finished.

We had a tee time made 6 days in advance and told by check-in people that Golf Now gave us wrong tee time and our new time was 24 minutes later. Another course person said Golf Now failed to tell Hombre that tee times had been sold. Another course person said Golf Now reported the tee time after Skins Tourney was set up. Truth was that more people showed up for weekly Skins outing and Hombre accommodated all of them in favor of other bookings. The Skins players were very slow and deliberate and our round took a little over 5 hours and we finished in twilight just before darkness. Having to wait for every 1st and 2nd shot totally destroyed what should have been a pleasant outing. We do not plan to include Hombre in our plans for our final month in PCB.

We began play at noon on 111 degree day and all water stations were empty. We reported the problem and were told person that refills them had already left for the day. The snack bar charged us 50 cents for cup to put water in since "we can't provide these for free" and "it's too bad the water jugs on the course are empty".
