one of the best 3 courses in this area

greens are unplayable due to aerification, rest of the course looks great, played to practice, 2 balls each hole, nobody there, done in just over 2 hours. will probably be in great shape in about 10 days.

Fantastic layout, basicalla another World Woods, but fairways are bad

This is an amazing golf course. Very quiet and tranquil. It reminds me a lot of World Woods. The fairways are in bad shape, but the greens were pretty nice to play.

Nobody out there, so we had a blast. Just roll the ball.

Some superb layout with a great variation of holes, doglegs. great par 3 and par 5s.

If you look for a manicured golf course, dont go there right now.

I hope they get thab back in decent shape with green fairways, then we will return frequently.

Superbe Golf Course

Always a pleasure to play Brooksville GCC. Very friendly staff, always a great pace, very good value for the money and a Golf Course thats normally in great condition.

This is a challenging course with lots of trees and undulated Greens. From women tee to the tips a great course to play with a variety of holes, doglegs up and down and of course the famous quarry holes that are always special to play.

We played the course 3 times in 2 days and we played all 3 rounds in around 3 hours with no waiting.

Excellent layout, great value for the money, course ok

We played Palisades for the first time and the layout of the Golf Course is AAA. Offers everything a golfers dreams off. Up and down, doglegs, water holes, half green islands. A real pleasure do see a great golf course design.

Speed of play was a little bit too slow. Front nine was fantastic and moved along, but then we were hold up from 10 (hitting Par 5 Green with an 5 iron in 2 from the tips) to 15 by a 4some that 2 of them couldn't really play Golf and they played a scramble. They should have let us through immediately and all would have been fine, instead we had to force ourselves through on a water hole, hitting past them and moving on.

Course was in ok shape. Playable but with a lot of bare spots, weeds, rough but still rolling Greens. For the $25 we played in January, their is really nothing to say about the condition. Can't expect 5 star quality when you pay 3 star.

Overall, a must play Golf Course, you will not be disappointed unless you expect a manicured Golf Course.

This is one of the best layouts I have every played and even from the tips challenging and for sure not boring at all.

We will for sure be back during the summer when we spend a lot of time around Orlando.

Thumps up! And if you can get the Greens just a 2-3 more on the stimpmeter and fix a couple bad spots (don't care much about tee boxes) then you deserve a 5 Star!

Great layout, up and down, super greeens, slow pace

We played this course for the first time. I think its a fantastic layout and offers doglegs, up and downhill, elevated greens, just everything a golfer dreams of. The rate at 18.95 is also amazing and the greens are fast and true. An absolute must play if you are in the area and I would give it 4 stars.

The reason I don't is mainly for the speed of play. 3 hours for 9 holes and 5 hours 50 minutes for 18 holes is just too slow. It was basically a waiting game the whole day. The other reason is it needs some attention, especially in regards to weeds.

The fairways are in great condition the greens fast and true and all at the same speed, but some of the surroundings need weed killer, especially the waste bunkers. It looks ugly if you have a 300 feet waste bunker that is covered with 30% weeds. There is also a lot of streets, homes and towers close to play and the view from tee box 2 (tips par 3, 250 yards downhill) is killed by the roof of Target to the right.

Overall, little work and its a 4 star course, absolutely worth playing for the layout and the greens.

Nice course, some interesting holes, currently under work

This is a good course, interesting, doglegs, up and down, some tree line holes, some way open. I give it 3 stars because they really work on it to keep it in great shape. Its not the ultimate interesting course, something is missing, but its definitely worth playing. Its a very easy and forgiving Golf Course.

We were unlucky as every Green that day was over seeded and impossible to putt on. Some place it already grew long, others it didn't. Greens rolled about a 5 on the stemp meter some 4, others 6, so putting was impossible.

Golf Now HAS to find a way to let people know about this. If I would have driven up there just to play one course I would have been highly dissapointed to find an unplayable course.
Plus sprinklers were running everywere.

They flagged every fairway to not drive on as it was also overseeded. Great job on this as it makes the fairway look great in only a couple of days.

They do it the right way at this course!

We will be back playing this course again, once it's playable.

Always in great shape, always a pleasure to play.

We used to play this course very often, its fun to play, great layout always in great condition and a fantastic practice range. There is never anything wrong with this course year around.

Just please get rid of the gas carts. It's annoying and unnecessary for a flat Florida course. This along with getting ID at the entry gate (I'm not a criminal I just want to play Golf, my car tag taken should be enough) makes us not to want to return to Riverwood as much as we used to.

Simply WOW! This is a gorgeous Golf Course with super Greens!

We played El Campéon, 18 holes from the tips, 3pm. Super friendly staff and this Golf Course is amazing. Everything you can possibly want from a course. Tree lines, uphill, downhill, island greens, doglegs, hazards, fountains, great bunkers and the Greens are fast an true roll, which is rare.

This is a course we will play over and over again if we are in the area. Top notch, similar to Copperhead at Innisbrook.

Thank you Mission Inn for the truly amazing and unforgettable day we had out there. Only draw back is I missed my birdie putt from 8 feet on the 17th Devil's Delight Par 5 Signature hole :-)

Top 10 Courses I played! Can't wait to see the other course, Las Collinas in the same Resort.

Fantastic layout, varity of holes, a pleasure to play

This is a fantastic layout and a real pleasure to play. Very interesting Golf Course for every level of play. Staff is extremely friendly, great GPS in the cart. A must play for everybody. This is the second time we played this course in 2 weeks and I would give it a 5 star with no hesitation but...

Only draw back this course has the Greens are just not a true roll. For the average golfer no big deal at all.

Go out and play this beauty you will not regret it!

A truly amazing Golf Course - Golfers Dream

We arrived at Bella Collina on Thursday around 11am and of course immediately impressed of the 19th century 50000 sf Tuscany Italian looking Clubhouse. Super friendly staff welcomed us and even we made a mistake in the day of booking, immediately assisted us and gave us a tee time.

You have to play this course, it's just simply amazing from the condition to the views, the layout, the challenge from every tee box (I played the Nick Faldo tees, over 7600 yards).

It's in excellent condition. From fairways to tee boxes, bunkers and true rolling Greens.

I consider this one of the top 10 Golf Courses I have played in my life and there are many many hundreds I played so far.

Go out and enjoy a fantastic day at Bella Collina, you will never regret it.

A 12 man crew keeps this Golf Course currently in top shape, bravo!!!

Not what we expected at all

Reading all the good reviews about this course we went out today and played championsgate international. Very friendly behind the desk and nice pro shop. After that we were heavily disapointed about the course, the condition, the layout and the boring and mostly not very appealing surroundings. I dont't understand what most people see in this golf course. I played this as a scratch golfer from the tips and its extremely long but still very boring. There are barely any interesting golf holes, everything is straight. There are no trees and weeds are all we saw this day. The fairways were in great condition but the rest was not. Lots of weeds, crab grass growing everywere. Greens were ok but also had lots of spots and weeds. Some greens did hold shots, others bounced away. Green speed was very inconsitant. The whole course looked like it needs alot of work. We had a single player joining us for the back nine and he was also very disappointed. It reminded me several times of a pasture. Lots of bunkers most of them unraked. This is a course we will not return. I feel sorry for my bad review but there are many other courses that are much nicer than this one.

Good course, wide open, great greens

First I would like to mention that we used to play this course frequently after it opened and not so much the past 2 years. This was our second visit since 2011 (the first one we walked away due to unfriendly desk personal).

Pros: Sarasota National has fantastic greens, great undulation, fast speed and true roll (which is rare in our area). Furthermore its the longest course playing 7350 from the tips, so therefore for me a great test of my game. The course offers several tee boxes great for any level of golfer, even women. The fairways are currently also in great condition and the bunkers are filled with new sand, which makes them a pleasure to play. Considering the late rain, it was cart path only and wet, but that's not a course problem.

Cons: First and foremost often unfriendly behind the desk. This is a complaint I heard often from people I sent there, friends that played there and now often mentioned in other reviews on the net (just google it). This is a no go for a place that looks for people paying and playing there. Personally I also don't like the driving range as the floaters don't fly, you have no idea where to hit the ball and the practice green that is way too much sloped as you can't find a flat putt.

Recently they also cut back the vegetation 20 feet each side of the holes, which some people might like but I rather prefer green vegetation than mud and brown dead weeds/grass.

In all, a good place to play, especially if you never played it.

Beautiful Golf Course, fast Green, very nice condition for this time of the year

We play Misty Creek at least 5-6 times a summer and it's always a pleasure to be there. The Greens rolled super yesterday, the fairways are in great condition so is the rough. Misty Creek C.C is a hidden germ, amazing layout, beautiful nature and wild life. The course is for summer (having that much rain) in absolute great condition and the Greens are besides Riverstrand, Waterlefe and Kingsway currently the fastest to play. A real pleasure! Thank you we will be back!

Fantastic Golf Course, great shape, friendly staff a must play

We played this course as a fouresome yesterday and it was in great shape. There are many different holes from Par 3 220 yards to 150 yards, from reachable Par 5 from the tips to not reachable, long Par 4, shorter Par 4, treelines, hazards, water, doglegs. Fantastic layout. Used to host LPGA tournaments back in the day. Course was in very good condition considering the rain we had. Only minor thing is that the Greens did roll inconsistent. Some were faster than others which made it hard to shoot a very low score. Other than that, Thums up for the friendly staff! We will be back, thank you

Simply a top notch Golf Course

There is not much to say. This is a top notch Golf Course, fantastic layout, pristine condition, friendly staff. I played this course many times over the years and unless they are doing work on it (which they have to) it's always in amazing condition.

There is nothing to add, this is for the money the best place in the world to play an amazing Golf Course.

Disapointed, I expected more from this course

This course has a great layout, lots of hazards and needs to be played a couple of times to know everything on this course and play it better. Unfortunately that is not a course I would return and the only reason I give this a 3 star is the great layout.
This is a city course, I personally don't like them much. It feels a little clostrophobic. I have never heard so many times 'four' than on this course. There are condos and out of bounds that sometimes come as close as 20 yards to the fairway. There are tee boxes 23 yards away from a Par 5 Pin, where people hit 260 yards shots into the green. There is a Par 3 playing 190 yards from the tips that one guy in our group hit over another tee box onto another green while people are putting.
Sorry for the bad review but this course is somewhat dangerous and I have seen many errant tee shots or other players on our fairway or on our tee box.
The condition was decent. First 4 greens where extremely soft and slow and suddently after Hole 5 greens get hard and and balls dont stop anymore. Greens rolled unconsistent, fariways where to short cut, lots of spots with no grass just dirt or dry grass.
Great layout, great holes to play, but overall condition not satisfying and everything to cramped in. Slow pace and shows signs of overplaying.

Another Top Notch Golf Course!

This course deserves 5 stars. Plenty of different holes. Some challenging some less. Great hazard locations, a very good design.
Course condition, there is nothing bad to say about it. Fast greens and very undulated!, Fairways top, Tee boxes top.
Played this many times and it was always in perfect condition.
Currently only draw back is the construction noise everywhere from the condos beeing built.
A must play, no doubt!
