Challenging

This is the type of course Americans would die for and we're so lucky to have it on our doorstep.
Whats also amazaimg is that it's a public course.
The course offers all the challenges of any links course. If it's your first time playing I'd suggest getting guidance on each hole before your start or bring someone who knows the course. Also brings lots of golf balls!!
Be aware the layout of some of the holes (back end) can be confusing - so pay attention.
While it's not maintained as good as a private course it's still in good condition.
The only think that Anniyed me was - there were two young lads (under 10) playing behind me and what I saw would put my golf to shame!
Great course, great value.

Gem

Picked the course solely for location. Never heard of it before. We were pleasantly surprised. Firstly, it's quite a long course. It's quite challenging, well layed out and maintenance is adequate. Be aware there currently is no off course facilities.

The. Club has just come through receivership and under new management.

I would highly recommend it.

Worth While

Teed off at 18:20 expecting it to be quite but the pace was very slow.
They had just sanded the greens, which they didn't make us aware of, and these played very slow.
I was also surprised at the cost of a biggie - 30 euro. Which is about 10 above the odds.
Having said that it is well worth playing.
