Beautiful course with tremendous history. Greens in pretty good condition. Fairways overall pretty good.
Cart paths another story. Very poor condition overall. Need lots of repair.
No Ranger to keep things moving. No driving range.

A few groups were extremely slow but no Rangers to be found to speed up play.. WHY???
Course in reasonable conditions but many greens were poor.
Price too expensive for such a long day!!

Slow pace but Rangers did nothing to move folks along. Just sat in shade.
Cart paths do not exist, just dirt and rocks. Many fairways in extremely poor condition.

Played On 11/29/2021Way to SLOW!! No Marshall!!
Course is just in fair shape. Lots of bad spots.
Very slow play. No marshall on the course. Had to quit before finishing due to darkness. Group of four had the entire course backed up. No one around to keep them on pace. WHY????
When questioned I was told that management sent the Marshall home early. Thanks much.

Overall course in poor condition.
Greens bumpy and slow. Fairways basically not even there.
Worker was spreading fertilizer via tractor and kept following me for over 10 holes. Someone should advise him to go backwards on holes so he doesn't irritate just a few paying customers. Did not even care what he was doing!!
Look elsewhere for a place to play!

Greens just aerated and sanded so very bumpy and rough. Fairways burned out in many places. Tee boxes getting work so also a mess.
Only worth a few dollars to play now!

Course is challenging but fairways are getting burned up on many holes. Greens still good. Could us some rakes in the bunkers.
Playing for a modest dollar value is OK, but don't spend too much for this course. Heat starting to take its toll!

Greens pretty good but fairways have considerable brown out spots. Sand traps very poor.

Very slow pace. Tee boxes pretty rough as are the fairways. Greens are OK, but nothing great. Don't spend a lot of money to play the course, better things out there.
Championship at Viewpoint Golf Resort

Booked on Golf Now and arrived 45 minutes early. Pro shop manager would not let me go a few minutes early since I got a discount price on Golf Now! He said if I wanted to go 15-20 minutes early then I would have to pay more. There were at least 3-4 openings for a single but manager would not budge.
I guess if you book on Golf Now you are considered a "cheap" golfer and are definitely not treated well. Best choice is to take your money and play any golf course except Viewpoint!
