very disappointing
I played there this past weekend. Never played this course before. We moved to sunset beach last year and I am trying to play all the courses to get to know them. I figured this to be a nice course to try, scenic, semi private. I was VERY disappointed. The condition of the course was horrible. 1st, 17th and 18th were nice, like you wanted it to appear the it was in good condition. Most other holes had weeds all over the fairway and was unkempt. Hole 3 had no grass at all!! The greens were ok. If they weren't, we would have walked off the course by the 3rd hole, and almost did anyway.

I book the reservation online. When I get there, he tells me it’s 2$ more for tax. Since when is tax added to a golf reservation? And the odds of it coming out to exactly 2$? What a way to jack up the price. Then it’s a 94 degree day. I brought a water bottle. Don’t see any water on the course. After nine holes, I go in the clubhouse and ask for water. They have zero water to give anyone. They said they had water on the 5th and 16th holes. That’s it. That’s a long way to go without water on a 94 degree day with no water in the clubhouse.

It appears that the course has been neglected for a while. Weeds growing all over the greens. Fairways and tee boxes and greens are very patchy. Course needs much work. I played here 2 years ago and it was in much better condition. Very disappointed. No beverage cart or water to drink on a 90 degree. And the price was too high for a poor condition course.
