Hunter Ranch Golf Course
Played On 01/24/2019Premier Golf Course
Anyone who knows the Central Coast, knows this golf course. It is a challenging, but fair course that is appropriate for all levels of calls. The beginner will find it extremely challenging but they will learn how to manage their game. The advanced will find it just challenging enough to make it enjoyable.
Pruneridge Golf Course

Wasn't sure what to expect, in the middle of the city. But since my wife is new to the game, we felt a 9-hole course would be a great way to get her some course time.
The course is well laid out and fair, some long holes (2555 yds), intermediate and short (95 yards). The fairways and greens were good. It's a perfect course for someone who's learning the game.
However, there was a crew performing tree cutting duties, and they had NO CLUE that they were responsible to avoid parking their trucks in the middle of the fairways, while they talked to other maintenance crews. One guy ran over my ball in the fairway because he didn't pay attention to where I had hit my drive and just drove across the fairway. I would have appreciated being informed that there was tree cutting activities on the course, and that may have changed my decision to play.
They were using a shredder to cut up the limbs, and they literally parked on the sides of the fairways, putting them and their crews at risk to be hit by a struck ball.
Other than that, a very good experience.
