Started on back nine, very good condition. Front nine was not so goodl. Bare ground bad tee boxes. Greens overall we very good. Members were not very nice or helpful as usual.
Halifax Plantation

greens in poor shape, rye overseed on greens and fairway not cut. very slow greens due to this. will try again some time in future.

The Oaks Golf Club

Needs lots of work. Layout is beautiful but bare greens and tee boxes. Fairways full of weeds and needs cutting more often. Owner great, clubhouse non existent. Beautiful wooded drive between holes lots of wildlife. Could build lakes to take away water from fairways which were flooded with dirt cart paths when there are some which was rare. Could be beautiful with a lot of money and love.

lNo one at bag drop when arrived, no big problem, pro shop person not helpful or friendly. Range and Range balls very old and no marked. Putting green fine. No water on the course and no cart person. This is Florida need water stations badly.
I was expecting a lot more from Club Corp operation and did not get it. Club house run down with unfriendly staff.
Deltona Club

Course had no water stations, no cart person. Fairways have a varity of grasses growing. All bunkers are waste areas so no raking, footprints, cart tracks etc. Would not recommend this course, star rating by Golf Now should be lowered to 21/2.
The Club at Venetian Bay

Can't say anything really bad, the course did not live up to the hype. Neither Golf Now nor pro shop inform us greens were punched, always a problem, Not worth the drive.

They would not turn off the wind machine. Seriously needs some work here and there but basically ok. Somewhere between three and 4 stsrs.
Hidden Lakes Golf Course

Wow paid $35.00 on golf now for this $20.00 course and even then not worth the money. Staff was pedantic and rude. Did not seem to want Golf Now players. Grass on fairways was bad to worse. Greens were ok but were uneven and needed water badly as did the fairways. All in all a bad experience.
South/North at Fernandina Beach Municipal Golf Course

Wow, not worth the money at any price. Greens were ok. Rough was US OPEN +++, UNCUT clumps of grass around greens, lots of fallen trees, terrible cart paths, staff lied about conditions and the carts were old gas and dirty.

I first played this course in January 2014 and it was not so good. Conditions have improved greatly. Greens were overall good shape but fairways still just ok.

I have played this course 5 times. Each time there have been fivesomes and many cut ins Almost everytime at the turn a group cuts in front. As a single I realize I have no status but it happens when I play with pick up players as well. When approached to cut ins I get "were members" And they never let anyone play thru. They need marshals very badly.
