Foxglove/Pinecone at Resort at the Mountain, The
Played On 11/04/2016The course was stillvery wet, so we could not ride to our balls.
I want to play it again when it is not so wet. Liked the layout, but would like to see it again when it is dry.
Green Mountain Golf Course
Played On 09/29/2015relaxing course to play
Not a lot of forced carries. Most of the holes are right in front of you and do not require tricky shots.
Lake Oswego Golf Course
Played On 08/31/2014Didn't know it was a par three course.
We wouldn't have played it if we had known it was a par three course. That should be noted when it is listed for play. Wasn't in bad shape, but lots of inexperienced golfers made the play slow and kids running around and making noise was irritating. Wouldn't play it again.
Oregon City Golf Club
Played On 08/24/2014Interesting layout and fun to play
A free course guide was a nice feature. Some hidden hazards the first time you play.
Timberlake Country Club
Played On 10/06/2013Tough greens and many interesting holes.
Very good course and well worth playing. Can play it back and get all the challenge you want. Certainly would play it again.
Orchard Hills Golf Club
Played On 6/29/2013Two different nines. First nine is tight and second nine is longer, but more open. Has some interesting holes on both sides and nice greens.
Need your "A" game to play well. Strategy off the tee is important. Do not get greedy!
Elk Ridge Golf Course
Played On 6/7/2013Liked the course except the very deep fescue. If you hit the ball off line you may lose it.
This is a very nice course and it is very scenic. It is well maintained and fun to play. If there wasn't so much heavy fescue it would be a little friendlier to play. It has many challenging holes and the wind tends to blow which makes it a challenge to keep the ball on line. I would recommend my friends to play it, but I would tell them to bring extra balls since you will lose them if you hit off line much.
