worst bunkers in the valley. No exageration! Can't believe I paid $80 bucks to play here.

Was the first group out on a day with a frost delay. Wasn't bothered at all by the delay, but I was bothered by the starter. His un-friendly mannerisms began as soon as I approached the bag drop. Upon approaching, the starter greeted me with a blank stare as if to say "what do you want?". I said "Hi! Good morning! He replies: "what time are you at".

While waiting in our cart for the go-ahead to tee off I decided to drive to the small putting green, but was blocked by another cart and was trying to get around. He says "where do you think you're going". I said "We're going to the putting green, we won't tee off". He replies "well I know you're not going to tee off, I guess you can go to the putting green"

I tried my hardest not to let this grumpy older man ruin my round before it had even started. Was able to enjoy myself thanks to the back nine on this course which is vastly better than the front.
The conditions were disappointing, however: Super hairy greens and bunkers that were not raked and unkempt even though we were the first ones out that day. Several of the bunkers on the back 9 had large rocks - almost as if someone had literally poured bags of rocks into them.

For $40-$50 bucks, I would definitely say this is a fun course to come knock the ball around. There are some very nice golf holes on the back 9. I will never pay a single dollar more to play this track, however.

AZ Grand - your starter is the first point of contact for every single golfer that comes to play your course. When you have someone that is cold and condescending doing this job, it definitely doesn't help improve the mediocrity of the course.

Had high expectations for this course. It was even better than I imagined. Beautiful golf holes.

Overall, a good track for the price when below $45. Bunkers are under construction and even the ones without signs are lacking in playability. Lots of dry patches in fairway and around greens but overall, the greens were in great shape. Dry, but pretty receptive and true rolling greens.

Amazing conditions. Amazing views and course layout. Would absolutely recommend. Only complaint is not a single ranger came around to check on pace the whole round. Group in front of us was absolutely wasted, laying down on the greens at one point and saw one guy chuck his club 40 yards into the desert after a bad shot and proceeded to look for it for several minutes while we waited to tee off.
