Kellogg Golf Course
Played On 07/20/2015Unbearably slow
Everyone knows the Peoria Park District is inept (R.I.P. Donovan Golf Course) but the way Kellogg is run is comically poor.
This was the the 2nd (and final) time we have attempted to play this course and had to stop before getting 18 holes in due to the pace of play. 4 hours in and we were only on hole 14. They actually have a Marshall... He just does not care, apparently.
At $35-40 a round, this course is a terrible value when compared to other courses in the area that are similarly priced (Weaver is $49 after 3, Metamora Fields, Coyote Creek, etc.). The value is diminished even further once you factor in that the round will inevitably take you 6 hours.
It's really a shame... This should be a nice public course in Peoria. Sadly, you're much better off playing the other courses I mentioned or driving across the river and playing Quail Meadows (East Peoria) or one of the 3 public courses in Pekin.
