Nice course but not a single flat spot on any of the greens.

Pleasantly surprised with how well they are taking care of the course. Fairways and tee boxes were excellent and the greens although not pristine were good. They have work to do on the rough/second cut but overall very happy with the course! Great job New owners!!

Wind made scoring difficult as it is a tight course with lots of elevation and fairway angles but other than that a nice course.

Course was fair, grass was very short for hard tight lies but great roll 😂 Biggest complaint was we transitioned from front to back slightly after 2 and the only food and beverage option was already closed. Not sure what they expect folks to do except to bring their own food and beverage!!

Troon just took this course over this year and I am excited to see the changes already. Green although slow we’re is great shape. Tee boxes and fairways were also on the mend. Give Troon one full year sans I am excited to see this become the next Poston like course. Well done!!

Not sure why 5 hour rounds are standard here but they really need to fix it. When you have a 1pm tee time you really don’t think you will be finishing at dusk. Other than that the course was great as usual.

I booked on Golf Now and the date changed from what I selected(happening all week with Golf Now) and I should have confirmed but showed up at the Course that day after my tee time. The gentleman in the pro shop was very understanding and accommodating and got me out even at the price I booked the previous day. The Course was in fantastic condition and I played 18 holes in 2 hours on the Red Tiger Course. What a great complex!!

So we get to the course a hour early to grab a bite to eat and practice. Only to find out the restaurant was not open, when asking the two guys in the golf shop if there was anything to eat in the complex, rudely you won’t be eating here! Do you know any where in the area we can eat? I show a place over by the club house, then he says, well do they have a number? Call them and find out. Well ok then. Then the “starter” or lack there of, holds our clubs and refuses to put them on a cart so we can go practice. I asked can we get our clubs loaded so I can go practice? I will get to them and send you out at your tee time! Well, we had been there for an hour and they didn’t load our clubs until it was time to tee off. Never again will I play this course!!

Still not great but getting better. This course has do much potential. I hope they keep working on it and if they do will be playing it more. I live in the community and would love it if they would open the restaurant and bar back up. I know several people in the community that would frequent it.

The course was pretty dry and hard. Made for great bounce and roll but trying to hit a clean shot off the fairway was difficult. The only reason pace of play a excellent is because we jumped a foursome who would not let us play through on about the 4th hole. We then finished in just over 3 hours. Otherwise, we ate at the course after we were done and the group we jumped still had not come in. They held up the whole course. I can assure you all the others will not say good things about pace of play.

It was way too hot for a 5 hour round. Course wasn't in the best of shape but an ok course. If you knew you could play in 4 hours or less then maybe worth playing again but not for the money we payed.

What a great Course. The layout is outstanding and the course was in nice shape. Would definitely play it again if I am in the area.

What a nice course but between the hundreds of thousands of Grasshoppers and the howling wind, it is a bit rough to enjoy. I know the course can't do anything about the wind but man do something about the Grasshoppers. Other than that, great greens and nice course.

Overall I can't complain. It is a nice course with the tee boxes and fairways in great shape. Making a putt was about impossible as a 3ft putt would bounce and move several inches before getting to the hole. But it is this time of year so come to expect it at most courses. I didn't really worry much about making birdies and focused on fairways and greens in reg.

I have played Ocotillo for years and this is the worst condition I have ever seen it. Very disappointed!!

Only saw one other group on the course all day and we flew around the course, almost literally with how hard the wind was blowing. Greens were huge and difficult but very nice and my only knock was all the clover everywhere. There were thousands of bee's with them all buzzing around you when you try to hit your shots. My wife is allergic so we had to keep moving her ball to an area where there was less clover which was not easy. Maybe spray some weed killer and get rid of it?? If nothing else at least in the fairways.

When you drive up there is a big sign stating it is under new ownership. I don't think I would advertise that since the course was in worse condition than the last time I played it. Maybe if you are going to toot your own horn, make improvements, don't let it go down hill. Fairways had grass that was not mowed in some areas, weeds every where, it almost looked as though it is just being left alone to die. The only good thing was the greens were in pretty good shape. Maybe they can only focus on one thing at a time?

The greens are much better than they have been the last few years but now the tee boxes are in horrible condition. Overall ok for the money but don't get how you can just ignore taking care of the tee box.

No one at the cart/starter area so grabbed my own cart and went and checked in. The guy tells me to check with the starter to get a cart. I said there are no starters and I grabbed my own. He said there over by the carts and I said no they are not. He went to find them and then I asked if we were up and they said, yeah, I guess you can go. It is no wonder we quit after 12 holes due to extremely slow play and no one to marshal the course. It took us an hour to play holes 10-12 and we were done. Not sure I will go back.
