The starter is also the cart boy and has been there for years, he has gotten so rude and out of line and disrespectful, I drove the cart barely into the parking lot and he nearly had a heart attack I was afraid I was going to need to call 911, then the same problem happened with my friend we have not played here in a few years and it was never a problem now it is I guess, then he comes bull rushing to the first green after we already played nine holes and would not stop talking about how we need to pick up the pace of play except the only problem is he's not talkin he's yelling and then we come in he totally cops an attitude because he doesn't get a tip? You are in the customer service business be polite and friendly and get to your point without acting like you're a teacher yelling at bad students we are in our sixties wake up we have the money but you won't get it when you're arrogant rude and disrespectful! He's burnt out and needs to find another thing to do for a living.. do not play here the course is in horrendous condition and go to osprey where it's the complete opposite

The greens are the most important aspect of any course. These were slow and too soft, but the layout is what makes this course, it is a thinking mans course, plenty of trouble for errant shots, plenty of water, and speaking of water the ice machine is broke and out of commission, so you have to go to the snack bar for ice and water, and they have an Igloo plastic container and a scoop for ice, the water was downright disgusting, like the plastic is leaching into the water, it was really gross, I had the bartender tell me they clean it everyday, blah blah....bottom line? FIX THE MACHINE, this is Florida I expect free, clean drinking water wherever I go to play.

These fairways are firm and fast, so get your tee ball on the right line and it can go more than normal compared to typical South Florida fairways. The greens are smooth and roll good. The wind was up, as usual, and from the Champ tees that we played it can be a beast...its a bit pricey, and out of the way, but a good test and good place to play a match.

On a scale of 0 to 10, I give a 7 on layout and scenery.
For condition I give a 4, crabgrass and clover on most all of the tee boxes, the greens rolled below average, fairways below average, this place is crying to be bought out and have a few million invested, I played on a Sunday at Noon and the place was very quiet, maybe 15 cars in the lot... I payed $25 with a Hot Deal, this is NOT a premium golf experience due to the poor conditioning, Osprey Point is a solid 8+, this Polo can't hold its socks up! Way better value and experience, and half the price at most times...

You get what you pay for. This course is $190 in season and we payed $27 and played 27 holes, not bad, a buck a hole!
They recently aerated the greens with the small tines that all ran in one direction so if you putted across the grain of the slits it was bumpy and slower. The fairways were crying for water, as they were mostly brown and "fluffy" from being tilled over essentially after their aeration.
Unreal layout, NO houses, amazing green complexes with severe movement in places, typical "angry Nicklaus design"... would love to play this again in 4 to 6 weeks when it gets all green and the greens are rolled and smoothed out. Great value with Golfnow at under $30. $40 roundtrip gas from Boca Raton...SAD to pay more for gas than greens fee!

First time I played here, it was windy as heck, great layout,
no real "stupid holes" like others may say.
I played from all the way back (6900 yds) several blind shots,
#8 is the main hole that the approach shot you are hitting down
a 45' cliff down to the green, and you really can't see the green
from the fairway, but there is a 30' high "red lollipop" looking
pole behind the green so you have an aim point. I can't wait to go play this place again. I birdied the first and last holes (par 5's)
and birdied 2 par 3's to shoot 77, and I'm 55, so I'll take that.

Not bad, not great, if you want great, dig a little deeper in your pocket and play the Eagles course next to this one. The greens here are decent, crab grass in many areas and on tee boxes (not on greens) , but what the heck, this course is being eliminated after the winter season, in May, and some type of commercial development is being built in it's place. It's a short course but has some challenging holes.

effect on play. Overall I liked this course for the money and will go back, doesn't hurt that I holed out for eagle on #14 a par 4,
from 117 yards out! That could bring me back!

Price paid on Golfnow? $10.60 total for a Friday 1pm time.
Good layout, greens are fair at best, directly due to economy
and lack of play, lack of cash going into the coffer, leads to lack of maintenance. This is another course that is hanging on by the skin of it's teeth to stay open. I was one of only 6 cars in the lot, and probably 2 of them work there. #10 green was open but is totally gone, toast. Greens are small in places and excessive undulations, if the greens were cut to roll at 10 it would be almost unplayable. I drove all the way from Boynton to check it out, will never go back, the gas money was more than the greens fee!

This County course is only 5800 or so from the tips.
Add in the wind and some tight holes, and tricked up #1 hole,
and it becomes a challenge. Bad idea to try and over power
it by slamming driver on some of the dogleg par 4's that are only 330 yards or so. The rough is no piece of cake. This course takes thinking and being in position, and only hitting 210 yard tee shots in places so you have a full 110 yard approach and a full shot, not a 65 yard touch shot. I will go back, #18 is neat too, go to the tips and see how tight it looks!

I like to play 7,000 yard courses, and Boca has it.
It's a good layout, many left to right holes, the greens
rolled good, and bottom line is, price wise, how bad can
golf be when the price is $1/hole? Golf conditions are
relative to price paid, want amazing and pristine?
Paying $50 to $150 normally gets it.

This course is 7200 from the tips which I played from the plates since they had all the black markers moved way up to shorten the course, great layout, good greens, but the tee boxes are hurting, bumpy, and just in ratty shape. There is crab grass taking over in many places since they are not doing anything to control it, so that was unfortunate....its all about money, and for the price ($25) it was a good value, pay triple and the problems go away, its all relative.

Not a long course, but a good layout, the greens exceeded my expectations, had to be 10 on stimp, and they rolled true. Greens were also very interesting, the shapes, and many places they can put pins. Total cost on golfnow was $18, good luck finding that price and getting this type of layout for a buck a hole! Too bad they can't add 50 or so yards to #17 and #18, they are only 350ish froms the tips, but you still have to hit it straight and make your putts. I will definitely go back...
