Played on Columbus Day, 2014. Overcast skies didn't hamper the fun. This course is extremely challenging for the average recreational golfer. As it is late in the year the greens are a bit spotty with marks and lack of growth. No reflection on the overall course quality. This is a must play for those serious about their game and wanting to try different Westchester courses. A few very hard forced carries, and narrow shots. The greens' profiles are very challenging.

The staff was great from the bag handlers to the starter to the waitress in the grill room. My hats off to them.

This course was in OK conditions when I visited. many other courses in the area are nicer and longer. nevertheless, its a fun course with a nice layout. The price is not justified however. Competition for players is tough in this area.

Give it a try.

I played on August 3, 2014. Teed off at 11 a.m., finished at 4 p.m. Course was in nice condition, except for the greens. The greens on many holes are peppered with ball marks, both repaired and unrepaired.

Very challenging course, as shots slightly astray can result in major problems. Plateaued greens make approach shots especially challenging/fun.

The staff is very professional. I ordered lunch at the turn and the young lady offered to drive my order out to me so as not to delay play. Although a had a two group wait anyway on the 10th tee box, it was a nice gesture.

In summary, not a course for a recreational golfer without patience and etiquette. If you've got an A game, you need it here.

I played Friday evening August 1, 2014. Course was in very nice condition generally. Challenging enough to need nearly all clubs in the bag. Facilities are in good condition, except for the men's room. You can smell the urine from the hall! Also the snack bar after hole #7 has been closed this season. Sure wish it was open - you need a refreshment at that point in the round.

All in all, as long as you don't have to go to the bathroom, you'll have a fun round. Give it a try.

This course offers memberships and is open to the public. It is very well maintained and the greens fees reflect that. I certainly recommend this course to all golfers even if you have to save a bit to play.

The staff is professional and very friendly. Though I played late in the season (11/10/13), the conditions were very good. I considered this the finest course outside of private country clubs that can be played in the lower Hudson Valley.

This is a very challenging course for the recreational golfer. Many par 4s are well over 400 yds. Having played on October 27, 2013, the leaves were down and hiding golf balls. The greens were very fast and hard. A missed uphill putt would return back to you (or worse). All in all a great course I would return to with my A game.

A course for practicing your game. Some scenic holes. Others are forces into the topography. Ground hogs are friendly.
