Hollydot Golf Course
Played On 12/27/2022For winter golf not bad.
The other reviews I read were accurate. Front nine is enjoyable, back nine is CHALLENGING. Great value and worth the drive when Denver courses are covered in snow.
Only disappointment was the snack bar. Ordered brats at the turn. 10 minutes wait and they were ice cold? What was the wait for.
Will play here again but will bring a lunch.
Todd Creek Golf Club
Played On 05/01/2021Planning on playing this course often in 2021
I always look forward to my round at Todd Creek. the fairways are challenging and the greens are fast but receptive. The staff is always friendly and the parking lot is easily accessible even when full.
I live 40 minutes away and still drive to this course to enjoy my round,
Wolf at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort
Played On 11/06/2020Enjoyed it despite the wind
This course was recommended by one of my son's friends. It is always windy. This day was 80 degrees and 15-20 MPH. It definitely added challenge to any of the holes where it was a cross wind or in your face. The greens were in great condition and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was worth the 30 minute drive from the strip. Will play again here soon.
Lone Tree Golf Club & Hotel
Played On 05/28/2016wind is not a golfers friend
Today's round was not ideal. high winds then clouds and faster than normal greens. Always enjoy this course and it's challenges.
Thorncreek Golf Club
Played On 04/11/2015Great day for golf
I consider this course above average with a few holes that make the drive up north worth it. The price is right and you can usually get a decent tee time on the weekend.
Pace of play was my major issue as we heard grumblings of 5+ hour rounds on the putting green(our was 5+ as well).
Greens were slipper y and fast but entertaining.
Would recommend to friends.
Antler Creek Golf Course
Played On 12/13/2014New flavor of winter golf
First I have to say that the great rate for 18 holes made it appear to be worth driving from Denver to play. Second the staff did tell us it was temporary greens when we arrived (their definition of temporary greens was the issue) Third it doesn't specify on the website that they have moved the green back 60-160 yards from the real green.
Playing 18 holes without a real cup to putt into isn't golf in my opinion. a red circle with a flag in it isn't golf.
Based on course condition an the bad taste this left in my mouth I won't bother to drive down in summer to play as it just isn't worth the price.
