From tee box to green the course was in great shape. The greens are fast but roll true. Food was amazing and the staff were friendly.

Hawks creek never disappoints. The greens were exceptional. You can tell the superintendent is into the details from maintained bunkers to excellent drainage with all the rain we have had.

I hadn’t played the course since last year. Love the layout. Greens rolled true with good speed. Cart girl came around regularly and the staff were very nice. I will play this course again soon.

Fairways and 2nd cuts were fresh and clean. Greens were not fast but well maintained! Pace of play was perfect. Only knock today was that the staff seemed disinterested except for the one cart girl. She was sweet.

I play this course often. Love the layout. There was a lot of water on the course and soft areas in the fairways. Maybe watering too much or they need to work on drainage . Good round overall!

Greens rolled true and fairways were well maintained. A few of the tee boxes were dry and hard. Needed a hammer to put a tee in the ground. Carts girls came around often. Great round overall!

Fairways were practically hardpan with scraps of grass. Tee boxes were littered with broken tees. Bunkers were all under repair. The greens were the best part of the round. They rolled true but just right on speed. The design was unique but refreshing. Even given winter conditions, this is the worst course conditions I’ve played on this season.

The course was still drying out from heavy rains earlier in the week and most of the traps were washed out. That part was great because you could pull your ball for free drop; ground under repair. The fair ways and greens were well maintained. Marshall’s and beverage carts made frequent rounds.

The fairways and greens are in great shape especially for winter golf. The greens were extremely fast. Made scoring tough. Lunch was fantastic and the cart girls came by often. Great day!!

The course layout is very unique in the area. They need to staff up on marshalls. Took over 5 hours to finish. Greens were sandy and rough. Ball would not hold a line. Traps needed fresh sand and drainage. Don’t understand how a course surrounded by multi million dollar mansions would not have better conditions. New management?

I play Iron Horse often. Fairways were green and greens rolled true. This was especially nice given it’s January. The cart girls came around regularly and were friendly. Only critique is there was no marshal on the first tee which caused some bunching up. Great day!

I have played many courses around DFW, but, the course conditions and design here were some of the best! The greens are tough due to pin placement and multiple tiers. Beer cart came around regularly. I enjoyed the elevation changes. I will definitely play this course again soon.
