About

I am a single digit handicap.....finally! I have spend the last 18 months really breaking down my swing, replacing old and outdated clubs, and learning about what pros think about when they play. It has brought me from a 15.8 handicap down to an 8.8 handicap in a little over a year. If I could figure out how to put better than a 5 year old at a miniture golf course, I will be a 5 or below in no time. I love golf, and find it to be the most relaxing things I can think of to do. Signed up for a few tournaments this summer, so we will see how that goes. Wish me luck!

Great Par 3

I have played a lot of par 3 courses and this may be my favorite one in the area. Good range of distances, sand traps and small water hazards in play. Enough trees to keep you honest, but not enough that they get in the way often. Course was really well maintained. I didn't find any soggy or soft spots in the fairway or rough, and all the greens rolled really well. On top of a nice course, they also have an excellent driving range, short game practice center and two putting greens. In addition, they have a miniature golf course as well. Really great facility, I will be back for sure. Especially if I can get another golfnow.com rate of $10 for 18 holes.

Best Course in the area

Langdon farms is a gorgeous course. Greens are hard and fast, and in the summer they have some long grass outside of the regular rough that makes you not want to miss too badly. Sandtraps and greens make this course great. They seem to have a green of every shape, size, and angle on this course. It is a bit more money than I like to spend, but they have some good deals on Golfnow that make it very affordable. I golf at this course every chance I get.

Fast greens and long holes

The course is in great shape when all the other courses in the Hillsboro area are soggy and beat up. Par 5s were long, but not ridiculous. The greens are the best in the area by far. All around, great course!

Glad I made the drive! (pun intended)

I had a really good time on this course. The variety of holes, green sizes, dog legs, distances, and pin locations made it very fun. I had never been to the course before, but they have two 18 hole courses. I played the East side, and really enjoyed it. The staff was great, and even had a beverage cart come by reasonably often. The course was in good shape, and the greens are not fast or slow, but instead are right in the middle. Great for all skill levels. I definately will be going back.

If you can get it at a discounted rate, it is a great course.

Although I find their regular summer rate slightly above what it is worth, they do have some great deals on Golfnow. Especially in the offseason. I played 18 holes for $8.99 as one of the Hotdeals, and that is the best value for my money I have gotten in a long time. The course has some real tough holes, and some fairly easy ones. I feel like the distances give a good variety, and the greens are varying shapes and sizes. Good fun, and good excercise to walk up and down so many hills.
