Being a resort course I expected the amenities to be very nice, to which I was not disappointed. From the first contact at the bag drop area until the very end of the round I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff. I was also very pleasantly surprised with the course itself. It had been several years since I had last played the course and it was still every bit the challenge that I remembered. Overall the conditions were very good and a great value.

I would be very hard pressed to find any negatives in describing my experience playing Providence. The course was in very good shape, especially for the time of year. The greens rolled true, the fairways were in very good condition.
The club house staff was also very friendly and attentive.
Providence is definitely worth the time to venture out to.

Prior to playing Lake Wales I had read that the course was not in good shape, that was an understatement. The front 9 was closed for rehabilitation, which I truly hope works. The back nine was in such a state of disrepair it made me question is it was a golf course or a grazing pasture. There was no grass on the tee boxes and most of, what would be, the fairway areas were infested with weeds. The greens were absolutely horrible, if you could call them greens. The sand traps were more dirt traps then sand traps. On the plus side, this was my first visit to this track and being that it is a Donald Ross design I could see that the course was once a beautiful and fun track. Hopefully the ownership will bring this gem back to the condition that I am sure it once was. Until then I won't be back.

This was the first time I played Hunter's Creek and was quite pleasantly surprised. It is a long course, however don't let that discourage you from playing. The layout is both challenging and fair at the same time.

The staff, from Jackson in the pro shop to Hunter at the cart return, where friendly, courteous, and helpful.

The course itself was in pretty good condition. The fairways played well and the greens were in pretty good shape. The only down side was that even though the greens were in good shape the grass was a bit long making them very slow, also some of the bunkers needed some attention.

Overall I would definitely say that the course is one I look forward to play again. Good value and great staff.

This was my first visit to Silverado. The staff was very friendly. The course was in pretty good condition although I found the bunkers were in need of sand. The layout was challenging while remaining fair. Overall it was a good value having booked a "Hot Deal" on Golf Now.

The course has a decent layout but is not overly challenging, even from the back tees. The staff was great, very friendly and treated you as if you played the course on a daily basis. The greens were a bit rough, however they had been recently aerated. I would definitely play again. A good value.

Prairie View is a hidden gem. I made the drive out to Byron from the western suburbs and couldn't be happier with my decision. From the first interaction at the pro shop right up until I left the facility I experienced nothing short of first rate treatment. The tee-starter/marshal was extremely courteous and helpful about the course layout and making my way around a course I had not been on before. The course itself was spectacular! The condition of the entire course far surpassed my expectations. The greens were in great shape, especially for this late in the year. The sand traps were well maintained and had the proper amount of sand in them. All and all a golf experience that would be a value at twice the price, not that I am asking them to raise the green fees. MAKE THE DRIVE, you won't regret it.
